Pacific Groove Restaurant & Lounge, Paramount Hotel Dubai — Restaurant in Dubai

The 2nd star is thanks to the lovely Albanian waiter. The food is mediocre, service is slow. We don't really understand how can anyone give 5 stars to this with the offer in Dubaiz not coming back. The shrimp overcooked like a paste, the tiny piece of octopus chewy...the taco had like a beef paste very uncomfortable texture to chew...very disappointed. We had made a reservation and when we arrived they paraded us for 15minutes telling us not to worry that they would find a table for us (since they never found our reservation) as if it were a favour almost. Not a good experience, people smoking Cuban cigars next to were we were eating . absolutely...

Food and drinks are above the average a restaurant in Dubai would serve. The main issue here is their ear- blasting music which goes in full at 10 PM, just in time when they serve the main course. Brought in a team of 25 people for a team dinner session but cannot even make a conversation with the one seating next to you because of their extra loud music.

All of us felt very uncomfortable while digging in on to the main course. People had to leave early and did not bother to wait for the dessert even. The management must have been confused of this place’s identity.

Delectable brunch menu, hygienic place, courteous staff, and scenic spot. They made my birthday celebration extra special by giving us a pretty large table in a private space. They've set up balloons and sanitized everything before we arrived. We certainly loved the food, it was very carefully handcrafted. Deliciously healthy!
