A fairly small hotel. Centrally located in Business Bay. In fact, there is a construction site next door that is in operation 24 hours a day. If you are on the other side, you hardly hear anything. The reception and lobby are quite small. The entrance is not particularly elegant either. The room furnishings are reminiscent of the taste of the 1980s. A bit old-fashioned and dark. The furniture in the rooms is practical, but not particularly attractive. Depending on occupancy, room prices can shoot up to over 300 euros a night. In that case, you should book the larger and cheaper, but also better equipped Radisson Blu Waterfront in the neighborhood. It is larger, more elegant, has more rooms and therefore more space.
The staff is extremely polite and helpful. The room cleaning is also impeccable. It is amazing how hard these young people work to support their families back home. But that also applies to the staff at the reception.
I found the restaurant to be noticeably bad. It is leased to someone else and is a kind of gambling den or something similar. You can play billiards. There is a bar. A few screens for football broadcasts and visitors who shout and make endless noise. It is almost impossible to concentrate on eating. The noise gets on your nerves and drives you away. This restaurant also runs the VIP lounge. The small meals, cakes and salads offered here are below the middle class. In any case, it almost doesn't matter what you eat, it tastes Indian in any case.
The situation for VIP members, on the other hand, is extremely friendly. No matter how cheap the room you book is, you are assigned the next best one. In my case, it was a fairly large suite with two large rooms, a dining area and a guest toilet.
As in all Radisson Blu hotels, the internet is embarrassingly bad. The higher up the room, the worse the connection.
You can really only give the staff and the status treatment 5 stars. The facilities, on the other hand, are more likely to be rated 3-4 stars. I would only rate the "culinary"...

The views from the hotel are simply incredible—waking up to the stunning Dubai Canal and city skyline was an experience in itself. The hotel’s modern design, stylish interiors, and immaculate facilities create a sense of elegance and comfort that makes every moment feel special.
One of the highlights of my stay was the buffet breakfast—an absolute feast! With a wide variety of fresh, delicious options catering to every taste, it was the perfect way to start each day. Whether you’re in the mood for fresh pastries, international dishes, or local specialties, the breakfast spread was truly impressive.
But what truly made my stay unforgettable was the outstanding service from the entire staff. Every team member was professional, friendly, and genuinely dedicated to ensuring a perfect experience. A special shoutout to Paul, who looks after the pool area—what an incredible, humble human being! His kindness, attentiveness, and welcoming nature made my time by the pool even more enjoyable. Read moreLoved this hotel. For the most part. Since we were staying in the business district, we were hoping for a very clean and adult environment.
The plusses: -Very clean room and great overall vibe. -The staff is amazing en would kill for good service. Felt like royalty most of the time. -Very good breakfast buffet plus great fresh options. -The location is good. Very close to the city center, the mall, and Burj Khalifa (where everything happens) -Another fun plus: when you choose to not have housekeeping coming every day, they give you a free drink in the hotel bar. Used it and loved it! -Indivdually packed dades available in the lobby, next to fresh fruit, water and coffee. Great little perk.
Less fun: -Lots of kids. In a way that disrupts peace of the other guests: running around, watching videos out loud, ... Jumping on the benches and running in front of you at breakfast. Even though they had a special kids buffet, there were still unattended children touching and coughing on the "adult" buffet. I would've loved to see the staff talking to parents when noticing this. -People in bathing suits come to the on-site restaurant. Feels very cheap and distasteful. I don't want to see wet bikinis wrapped in a see-through shirt when eating lunch. It gave "resort vibes" which we were avoiding actually by booking this hotel.
So overall a good experience, but it might suit the staff to let people act according to the environment they're in. Would have made our...
