Taqado Mexican Kitchen - Studio City Dubai — Restaurant in Dubai

I had reviewed your food and experience at Taqado at MOE. As I mentioned, the experience was not a WOW.

Here are my experience on the same:

When I went to order, Lanan ( I guess I got the name correct ) , he was not courteous. He said, if you want, the fresh grilled chicken tacos will take 6 minutes. Then I said, Ohh.. it takes time? Then he said, if you want, I can make it from what is available in the counter - This is not a right approach to the guests. He should have simply said : "Sir, Thats a good choice. Your order will take 6 minutes as we prepare fresh. Would you like fries with it or perhaps water , or juice ?” - His approach certainly indicated lack of customer service training. When I told him, thank you for being not courteous, he quickly changed his behavior and became humble - I could easily figure out this change. Then he smiled. I appreciated his smile and told him, good you are smiling. So, I will wait for the Crispy fresh chicken tacos as seen on display and will wait for 6 minutes He did not upsell anything to me. - sad. I finally got the item .. - look at the picture. - This is not even folded . Not the way it is shown on your display. - expectation of customer is jeopardized. I asked him why is not folded - He said he doesn’t have the taco holder. - Really ?? So, is it OK to project something and deliver something different ? Look, the three tacos is priced at 44 Aed. Is this value for money ? Even if the portion size is small, the product must stand up to its price. It is not the question of...

This place used to be my go to, i ate there at least twice a week, the staff used to be super friendly, until this Issac showed up. As a vegetarian, changing something in the menu was not a big deal, but today i decided to have some tacos and since i do not take protein i asked if i can replace the protein with beans the guy insisted on adding extra cost which doesn’t make any sense, i told him that i have always replaced the protein with beans i was never charged more all the staff knows me when they see me they start preparing the fries knowing that i will order it for sure… i do not know this guy was no negative and helpful, but for sure am not steping foot inside this...
