LARTE Pizzeria & Ristorante — Restaurant in Dubai

Terrible experience! As a family, we came to the restaurant in the afternoon on July 21, it was half full, the restaurant hostess put us with a small toddler in a hall without air conditioning and with obvious smog. When we asked if the room is for smoking, the hostess replied no, but ignored our concerns. Sitting at the table, we found that the coffee beans was burning under the next table where the Indian family was sitting. The waiter served the table and didn't make a single comment! Dear owners of such a wonderful Italian restaurant, do you not know that it is forbidden inside the premises? Where is your manager why he does not sound the alarm and why the hostess is so indifferent that she puts the family with a small child at the table in a room where there is a clear smog and everyone around them understands what is the reason! A family of three burned coffee granules under the table but your staff of the same nationality did not comment on them! Further worse! We were waiting for food for an immoderate amount of time my child was already going crazy from stuffiness in the room where there is smoke. Extreme behavior was the fact that the hostel came to our table and asked if we were ready for the main course the pizza, we said yes and after that we had to wait another half hour! And this with a half-empty, I would say an empty restaurant! The problem and exclamations of customer disappointment, three waiters could not solve it alone and immediately called a blonde hair colleague (probably the manager) from the office who solved the problem, namely, turned on the air conditioner, brought us two pizzas and ice cream that was included in my son's lunch! Is this the level of the restaurant that a married couple with a child should choose? Not! You brought us pizzas but forgot even the olive oil! You said that you didn’t allow that family to burn coffee granules, but it’s not like that, we sat next to them and saw you ignored this fact, they put out a plate of burnt coffee only when they left the table! The restaurant did not bring any gestures of politeness and regret because of the situation in which our family with a small child was subjected, do you not know that burnt coffee emit a gas that affects the psyche and cause a problem for the respiratory system ? How do you allow this to happen? Never again will I return to this place! Your service deserves a score of zero. Staff do not know how to solve problems and the level at which you position yourself does not save on air...

Larte is a italian bistro located inside the famous Studio One Hotel located in the communal hub of Dubai Studio City. Larte is one among their restaurants that focuses on delicious Italian food. We came here for the All Italian Family Brunch where kids eat free (1 kid per adult booking). The brunch is available only on every Fridays from 12pm to 3pm. The interiors were lit and they do have an outdoor seating as well facing the pool. Since this is a family brunch, they have something exciting for kids where they get to spend their time at the Game room or the Movie room located at the second floor. Don’t worry they have arranged someone to look after them as well and they have got games and movies to cover the time on having your meals 😊 It was a set menu and each dish was amazingly delicious. All fresh to the table based on your liking. For drinks we had the non alcoholic version of Virgin Mojito and Pinacolada. For starters there was three of them Frittura di Calameri e Verdurine (Fried Calamari with vegetables), Permigiana do Melanzane (Eggplant Tart, Tomato, Parmesan and Mozarella) and classic Bruschetta Pomodoro (Toasted Bread, Fresh Tomato and Basil). Loved the Eggplant tart and fried calamari. From the Pasta o Risotti Section, Both the dishes were tried since its shareable. One was the Risotto ai funghi Porcini (Rice, Porcini Mushrooms with Parsley), this was really appetizing and the next one was my favourite – Lasagne Bolognese, perfectly cooked. Simple and best – Lasagne, Mince Beef with tomato and bechamel sauce, yum. From the pizza section we had the Pizza Diavola, it had spicy Salami and onion. Simple and delicious. Zayan’s favourite. Next Main course was the Tagliata di Tonno con Rucola e Pomodorini, the names long 😊, Tuna Steak (I preferred well cooked), came along with rocket leaves and cooked cherry tomatoes. From the dessert it was Panna Cotta and Cannoli Siciliani, perfect ending to the meal. Zayan again had to visit game room to finish off that remaining energy.
