THE SUM OF US — Restaurant in Dubai

I was so happy/lucky/relieved to find this spot in my travels.

I should have got all 3 names I feel bad, Esther will know if anyone there asks her who else it was that gave me such kind and incredible service.

This is the kind/style and type food /juices and smoothies I eat and make at home and I was so tired of hotel food. This was exactly what I needed.

The staff too! There are many of course. But the first evening I stopped by those 3 in particular. Esther and 2 others were just so amazing it meant a lot and was like seeing friends even though I had never met them. Sum of Us is lucky to have them.

I miss this place already and so does my stomach that is not liking hotel restaurant foods. I am in a different part of Dubai now and can’t walk there as I was doing. I would go every day if I could. I dined in twice and even took some to go for my dinner the next day too. lol

But I have already started to spread the word to others. And just wanted to write this to actually shout out those 3 the most! 🥰

As well as show my support for others to try it. Dubai needs more healthy spots like this! I’m sure there are. But they are a bit harder to find.

I have lived in the UAE for nearly 19 years and THE SUM OF US is one of my absolutely favorite places in Dubai. I travel a great deal around the world and these guys have not only got the perfect blend of coffee but an incredible menu of flavours - “literally a dance party for your tastebuds” from the ultimate breakfast bowl to the most delicious pancakes served by their welcoming team led by the gorgeous Zusi has it covered, breakfast brunch, lunch and even dinner for the late workers needing a home cooked meal kind of feel and not to mention the most ideal gift for any new parents. (I recently picked up their banana bread and several hearty dinner options for my friends who just welcomed their first baby)

THE SUM OF US also have the most amazing Bakehouse onsite with breads, sweet bakery items baked to perfection, sandwiches, and heathy breakfast / snack jars, so convenient if you’re looking for really good fresh food on the go.
