Saarangaa Bhojan Shala — Restaurant in Sharjah

Amazing food for a good price. The ghee roast I had dosa was much bigger than I expected it to be. I love my dosas crispy and so I told them to make it so and they delivered. It was great: soft on the inside, crispy on the outside.

The white and peanut chutneys were great, however the sambhar and the tomato ( more like onion and garlic with the most miniscule amount of tomato ) chutney were quite lacking in flavour.

The other dish I had was this curry lead soup of the day which was absolutely delicious. I demolished the soup while waiting for the dosa and it was fabulous.

The atmosphere is a little noisy even though there were maybe 5 more people other than the 2 of us dining together. The place is quite echo-y and has 2 TVs with advertisements of their own restaurants playing on loop. The ads came off a little aggressive for me, I'm eating at the restaurant, you don't have to advertise it if I'm already sitting there, lol.

Overall, a great place for vegetarians. Options are good and very well priced, but I haven't really tried the others so I can't speak on their taste. But all things considered, if you need a good, well priced meal, and are a vegetarian, this...

I’m not a vegetarian, but if food like this was always available, I’d have no hesitation becoming one! This was my first visit to Saarangaa Bhojan Shala, recommended by a local friend, and I’m so glad I took their advice.

Every dish was bursting with authentic flavor—from the crispy veg spring rolls to the hearty tiffin combo, and the fresh, energizing Power Booster juice (orange, apple, ginger, and carrot) was the perfect touch. The Badam Milk was also a highlight—rich, creamy, and comforting.
