Read moreI found Rukn Al Mabrook Restaurant completely by chance, just walking near my hotel and looking for a good Lebanese or Middle Eastern place to eat. I have to say, this turned out to be a real surprise.
I ordered the Adana kebab, along with a salad and some hummus. And listen, I’ve eaten Adana kebab in dozens of places — across Turkey, all over the Middle East, and even in expensive restaurants in Dubai. But the Adana kebab here at Rukn Al Mabrook was probably the best I’ve ever had. Seriously. The meat was juicy, perfectly grilled, packed with spices, and served on a thin bread with a bit of red pepper paste underneath, adding even more flavor.
The salad was super fresh, full of parsley, tomato, and onion, just the way a good tabbouleh should be. The hummus was also very smooth and creamy, with a nice touch of olive oil on top.
Something else I really appreciated — and it says a lot about this restaurant — was their honesty. When I ordered my food, I asked for a salad, a hummus, and the Adana kebab. But when they brought it, they didn’t give me an extra hummus — because the salad already came with some. They could have easily just sold me an extra portion and charged more, like many places do. Instead, they acted honestly and only served what was necessary. That kind of customer respect really stands out.
The restaurant itself is simple, clean, with comfortable seating and private booths if you prefer a bit more privacy. It’s not fancy, but it’s...
Read moreThe seafood bucket at this restaurant is an absolute must-try! They offer it in portions suitable for either two or four people, making it perfect for sharing with friends or family. It’s packed with fresh, flavorful seafood and served in a way that really enhances the overall dining experience. If you’re a seafood lover, this dish alone is worth the visit.
Aside from the seafood bucket, I’ve tried several other dishes here, and I have to say, everything has been consistently delicious. The flavors are rich, the ingredients taste fresh, and the portion sizes are satisfying. It’s clear that the kitchen puts effort into every dish, which is something I really appreciate.
The only downside—and the reason I’m giving a four-star review instead of five—is the wait time. The restaurant is quite small with limited seating, and it’s almost always busy. On average, you may have to wait anywhere between 15 to 30 minutes to get a table, especially during peak hours. While the food is definitely worth the wait, it can be a bit inconvenient if you’re in a rush.
Overall, though, it’s a great spot for seafood and flavorful meals. I’d definitely recommend...
