AJs Pizza & Pasta (George Street) — Restaurant in Aberdeen City

So I was sitting wee my mate who I've known for 28 years and I'm 33 years old. We've ate at all your usual, papa John, Pizza Hut, SNAPPY tomatoe, Papa Pizza you know the type oh places which claim to be made of the best pizza in Aberdeen, I'll have you know. Anyways must oh been getting high one night chilling with some nice bud and suddenly we questioned what the best pizza place in Aberdeen (actually is). Right, so my mate he lol at me and I look at him wee see the name A'js, eh what's an Ajs. Took a chance away fae the risky burnt dominoes pizzas as with the 'I canna cut a pizza right what the hell am I doing working in a pizza shop' - carry ons. Playing some video games and eating hot food was the idea behind the pizza, you never need a reason its like Scottish stable diet. Another night chilling doing no harm and filling our bellies proper. Rang the boy, he's on the phone. Most friendly and happy to help. Ask about the deals, he gives us the speel. In the end I decided I'd go something like Dominoes Texas BBQ pizza. Well Aj's has it covered. Pizza came and wasn't disappointed whatsoever having tried all worthy places Ajs is the best Pizza place in Aberdeen. We have been eating here for over a year ever since. I cannot rate this place enough!!! My first time placing an order tonight and everything was PERFECTION! Great value for money, really polite smiley delivery guy, came within time stated. Ordered the £18.99 meal deal(great value) 12inch pepperoni & salami pizza southern fried chicken strips with garlic dip, cheesecake and two tins of pepsi. Everything still sizzling hot, pizza looked and tasted amazing including a yummy crispy crust, chicken was delicious , dips were tasty , juice was nice and cold , cheesecake stunning and the little added touches you put in the bag were just very unexpected and appreciated (plates/cutlery/doilies/napkins/and a wee brownie and apple pie thrown in for good measure-dont get service like that from many places at all these days) i really felt this place deserved nothing less than a 5star review and will be my go to take-away from this day forward. I suggest if anyone wants authentic/fresh food with great service and great value they try AJ’s too. It was really hard to get a good takeaway pizza in Aberdeen but after ordering from AJ's I now have a favourite. I have heard great reviews about AJ's from friends and work colleagues so felt it was time to try them. Being round at a friends house we opted for the party deal which gives you two - 14" pizzas, chicken strips, garlic bread, potato wedges with cheese and two cans of juice all for £36.99.

Only downside was waiting over an hour for delivery but it was well worth the wait in the end. We ordered the four cheese and meat feast pizza and it is one of the best pizzas I have tasted in a while, not forgetting about all the sides we got too. It was a banquet of food for all 4 of us and we still struggled to finish it. Really good value if you opt for a deal but pizzas are a little pricey on there own but well worth every penny.

Can't wait to try AJ's again, best pizza...
