Victoria Park — Attraction in Aberdeen City

Victoria Park in Aberdeen is a peaceful and charming park located in the Rosemount area. Opened in 1871, it is one of the oldest parks in the city and is known for its beautifully landscaped gardens, well-maintained lawns, and relaxing atmosphere.

One of the park's main attractions is the granite fountain, made from five different types of Scottish granite, which makes it unique and a tribute to the city's granite industry history. The Friends of the Park group are doing a good job restoring it to some of its former beauty. An ugly and ancient greenhouse has been removed and landscaped. Hopefully the Blind Garden will return too. It's a very colourful park popular with dog walkers, walkers, runners (a circuit is roughly 1km) and people of all ages. There is a public toilet which costs some money to use and is clean and well maintained. Nice place to relax and enjoy nature and mature trees. There are plans to restore...

So great to be able to enjoy this beautiful park. So peaceful & due to the current restrictions not that many people about, & they are keeping distance. All site well maintained & flowering in wonderful colours, & paths clear & safe. Just sitting on one of the many benches people watching is a pleasure in such surroundings.
