Costa Coffee — Restaurant in Aberdeen City

Visited this place on 22/1/20 at 4pm with my Sister. The Man who served us was very rude and unprofessional ! He was speaking to us as if we haven't ordered drinks before. He asked us very rudely what we wanted ! Asked me if i wanted whipped cream on my hot chocolate I said no thank you but he said it comes with whipped cream ! ! ! Then why did you ask me then ! ! Found a table but it was very dirty. Took a sip of my hot chocolate but it was no where hot or warm ! I took it back and told the guy who rudely grabbed the drink from my hand and topped it up with hot milk and gave it to me ! No apology or acknowledgment ! I have never been served by someone so rude. I seriously think he should go back to school and learn some manners! He seriously put us off finishing our drinks. Will still come here but not if this...

The food was fine, we wish that the menu would have been more detailed as it lacked a lot of information about what is offered and what isn’t. So you have to waste time standing at the counter asking if they have this or that. The food items shown on display are tasty at least out of the ones we have tried. It’s also nice that they heat up the majority of sandwiches/toasties etc if asked. Prices are good. The tables don’t get cleaned very often due to how busy it is so we had to clean it ourselves...

I go here all the time because it’s near where I live and it’s really gone downhill lately... on several occasions they had to remake my drink because they put normal dairy milk rather than the dairy free alternative I pay extra for. Sometimes you stand at the til and nobody serves you because everyone is making drinks and nobody is looking at the til. Coffee is often very half-hazardly made, not quite full.
