Butchers Arms — Restaurant in Aberdeen City

Staff attitude diabolical. Was a rainy day, my glasses steamed up from rain and face mask. I was faced with condescending younger member of female staff and her interrogatory tone. Have you been drinking? No.. I am unfortunate enough to wear glasses, they do steam up from face mask. Staff : where else in the town you have been today? Erm.. Excuse me? I've been to Bank, been shopping.. I have shopping bags in my hand.. Really terrible attitude. I understand the covid rules, but she's clearly imagined herself as prison warden or something above anyone else. Dreadful experience, I'm all for supporting pubs through tough times, but when the staff let's the atmosphere down and greets you with unfriendly scowl and full on interrogation, I won't be returning. I would have been better off walking back...
