Crolla’s Gelateria Rosemount — Restaurant in Aberdeen City

I hate to give places bad reviews on customer service because as someone in the service industry myself, I know the stress of it all. However rude service is something to expect of a young worker on minimum wage; not a grown woman who I'm sure manages the place. This is the third occurance of this. First time I put it to a bad day, second time I found it odd but moved on, but given it is the third time the boss was extremely rude and had a very poor attitude towards me – a mere young person who was ordering something small just for myself – I cannot go with saying nothing.

The food here is absolutely wonderful which is why I continue to return, but I much prefer ordering via delivery due to the rudeness of this worker. She always has a nasty tone, roles her eyes, raises her voice if you aren't sure what you're ordering yet (even if there is no queue,) and also seems to be quite harsh to the young worker that was helping her behind the counter. There are countless reviews stating the exact same thing, so I know I'm not alone with this. I have never reviewed anything before but it had to come to this. I really hope she fixes her attitude or at least assigns someone much more patient on the till so innocent customers don't have to deal with her snark.

Again, cannot fault the food though! 10/10 food. 1/10...

I was on 8 March. That time wasn't so good and I add 3 stars. Today I recharge this place for 4 stars. I know this place because before it was my agency for my flat lol It's not much space in side but it's very nice in decor. Tables and sitting place is good, but could be more cozy. Working people are very nice, if is busy is more people, which is good. Menu is bigger now with lots of different deserts and also small menu for breakfast, which is good. My order on 8 March was toasted croissant with ham and cheese was best ever. We also had ice cream deserts,it was looks lovely and really a lot to eat, but I didn't really like it because I didn't know it was something in desert which I did like it, my wrong, that one with banana was better desert. On 02.04 i was with my family for deserts and was really amazing good as they looks, yes this time I had banana with chocolate :) Today I am again and I have just toasted croissant which is of course good and little lovely drink. I hope I will back...

Nice café in the Rosemount area of Aberdeen. I had a mocha, which was very good. My friend asked for an orange juice and if they could fill up her water bottle, but they came with her water bottle full of orange juice: misunderstanding... Then we had a mug of soup (ham and pea) for£2.50, it was very good but a bit small. The place filled up as the evening went and we found it too noisy so we left (after more than 3 hours in the place). Overall, good experience, I would recommend and would go again. Visited again in July 2021. On a beautiful evening, we were happy to find that the Gelateria was still open. We had a cappuccino, but I like mine with oat milk, for health and sustainability reasons: I was disappointed that they don't have oat milk, the only plant alternative is soya milk.
