I walked past one day, looked in the window, and saw 2 ladies sitting in big comfy chairs, eating large slices of Carrot Cake, looked delicious, read a sign, Homemade Cakes, that did it for me, had to go in to have some.
A lovely little coffee shop. Sit in or takeaway. You can have a regular drink and slice of cake for £3.75. The fresh coffee smelled so good, so I had a large cappuccino and a slice of carrot cake, which was less than a fiver. The kind man serving also gave me a packet of crisp and a biscuit! Read moreI've been staying near this lovely coffee shop for a couple of months while traveling from America, and I cannot stress enough how much I'm going to miss it when I go back home.
The owner is so kind, and I've never had a better flat white anywhere. The breakfast is also superb, and they have a wonderful selection of cakes if you have a sweet tooth. I still need to try their lunch food, but I'm sure it is just as amazing as everything else.
Also -the prices. You cannot beat the prices here, especially for the quality.

I ordered a chicken mayonnaise baguette with added cheese. He kept asking if I wanted pepper, told him hi 3 times and he was still asking.
