Aberdeen Arts Centre — Attraction in Aberdeen City

Excellent performance venue and service orientated staff. It was a pleasure to see both sides of the stage area. Small carpark for disabled visitors/equipment delivery serviced by a dedicated lift.

Main theatre with raked seating to allow uninterrupted stage views. Large orchestra area. Lighting and sound excellent for shows, perfect fit for Studio 202's Aerial Arts show with enough backstage area to fit the practice rig too.

There are (cold) toilets in the reception area, refreshments area and various smaller rooms which can be hired separately for functions.

I with a friend visited the centre on Saturday 17/7/21 to see what I can only discribe as a unique type of play. Based on a mid 40's radio play. Ie where the cast sit around a table with scripts and limited sound effects. Similer to say the "Archers". This was enhanced by the actors wearing period clothing. It was brilliant and on top of that the staff organised the covid restrictions brilliantly. ALL in all a great night...

Brilliant time @ AAC to see Bon Jovi Forever. Great atmosphere. Staff were brilliant, escorting me by lift due to my mobility issues, & repeatedly asked if they could help in any way . Actual venue could do with an upgrade, but this does not negatively impact on the experience. Prices very affordable. Would definitely recommend others to...
