Very poor place of a pub.
Ordered a Birra Morretti on arrival and was told they would need to change the barrel by unfriendly bar staff. I told him not to go to the trouble as he made it clear that's what it would be and oereded a Stella for me and a McEwans Export for my guest. About half way through, we both agreed our drinks did not taste as they should and handed them back to the bar staff who was sitting watching the TV (still not changing that barrel)
Atmosphere was locals playing darts and a selection of strange individuals. Clearly an establishment for locals only.
Prices were reasonable but given they either don't clean the taps or they water down the drinks I can't recommend.
Even any locals reading this should take note that they are being fleeced.
Went to the Bobbins round the corner and had a...
Read moreFreindly historical bar. Great atmospheric ceiling complete with rampant lions painted in red. I coudnt begin to describe the rest of the ceiling. Amazing drinks selection for a pub outside the city center. Some craft beer and lager. The usual favourites too Tennants guiness and i think even mcewans export on tap. They have a decent sized screen fro folks to watch sport. Juke box and a darts area complete with a big diveder so the darts cant bounce off the board and land in somones pint.
They even sell chocolate behid the bar tunnocks tea cakes ive never seen that before.
Its a cosy wee local pub with friendly locals and is...

I asked if they did food? NO!! Something to think about - plus - also - "" We have filter coffee - always ready - how about that for an idea - no need for fancy machines or 3-5 minute wait for a simple cup of decent coffee (not instant? A no brainer really! Try Belgium - whether you drink wine, beer, coffee, tea, water - you are equally welcome to stay in a bar as long as you want - even...
