Bake Out Lancing — Restaurant in Adur

Average. I feel like I've given bake out a good go however I've sadly been disappointed. The first week it opened I had a delicious sausage roll and cake. Since then every visit I've had hasn't been up to the same standard. The lady who serves behind the till with short blonde hair is also not very welcoming and doesn't seem to listen to your order... Recently I bought two jam doughnuts that were sadly raw inside and could not be eaten. I ordered another sausage roll that was very overcooked and bland. On another occasion I ordered a panini and the lady at the counter (same above lady) gave me the wrong one. Upon leaving the cafe my partner went back to return it and she came across quite rude and didn't apologise and made it seem like it was our fault. Where "fresh" stands for FRESH!

Nowadays it's becoming pretty difficult to find good quality, fresh bread and pastry. Well, Bake Out Lancing is one of the places where you still can. All they offer is freshly prepared for the day. I know that as at the end of the day they pack and give away via 2good2go all the unsold pastry and breads to locals.

Tip - try their sourdough bread, especially the one with seeds is just sooo good!

Previously left a 5 star review. Unfortunately the lock on the toilet here has been broken for over 9 months. Disappointedly, it also does not have baby changing.
