A well kept secret. Windsurfers, excellent cafe more a restaurant serving excellent food right on beach. Seat to the rear are within a foot of the best. At low tide miles and miles of sand and on very low rides you can walk into Worthing and beyond around the end of the pier. Unfortunately the secret is slow getting out and people cone from other areas to be here to point car park was upgraded in last few years. A safe beach for children as apposed to others that shelve steeply. Highly recommend to families with young ones. Dogs are allowed, please clean up. Also to be found is a skate park and other amenities to include public toilets that...

Very disappointing - Had lunch here on the Bank Holiday Monday with a group of friends, asked for 3 Greek salads. They came out in small cardboard bowls, half filled, sprinkled with Feta (if you could find it) over chopped cucumber, onion and tomato with no seasoning. It tasted of nothing and we paid £6 each for the privilege. It was a shame as sitting in the garden was lovely. To top it off as we left we noticed other Greek Salads being served on proper plates with cubes of Feta as you would expect. Don't know why we received the service we did. Very disappointed ☹️. Will not take the chance of eating there again 😔 wish we had taken...

It was lovely to be outside in the sunshine by the sea. We had a lovely lunch of a fish finger roll, a hot dog and extremely cheesy chips from the little cafe kiosk right on the beach near the kids playground washed down with really good coffee. It was freshly cooked (we had to wait for a few minutes) and very reasonably priced. The only downside was that it was a bit chilly when the wind blew but it was the end of March and right on the coast so it wasn't totally unexpected. We were well wrapped up and it didn't dampen our good...

A vast expanse of grass that hosts Bank Holiday markets eg travelling sellers eg, nik naks and burger bars. Other buys may include discounted tin foil. Also good for local parish events eg blessing the boats (historically for local 'fishermen'). Good for bring your own bbq etc, and visits to the beach, beach cafe (small) and the larger Perch cafe (related to Perch, Worthing Pier, empire and side profiled in attached picture). Coffee and teas are served a lot quicker at the smaller one which preceeded Perch.

£4 pounds for day rate. The Green itself is fantastic, with good access to the beach. Play area, good pathway occasionally busy with cyclists some of who. are a bit thoughtless with the speed they travel at. Easy access to the beach. Go.visit and have a great day just make sure you dont get caught out with the change of price.

This is a great location. Cheap parking just behind the beach. Large grass area for games. Beach is mainly pebbles, but some nice sandy areas at low tide. Watch out as tide comes in as beach rakes quite steeply and can catch out little ones. Traffic can be slow and heavy over last mile or so down to car park, but worth it!
