Giving one star is being kind for this restaurant. Decided to order me and hubby food from subway Alfreton and I ordered 2 footling meal deals costing £33+ altogether and it told me on app what was included in my hubby’s footling as he had the new chipotle cheese steak and I had my usual classic BMT. On my order it gave me choice of toasted and I ticked yes and I just persumed hubbys was toasted anyway. Order didn’t take long to come and I k ow why now. Took boxes out of bag and they felt cold and heavy and upon opening they hadn’t been toasted at all. They were hard and stone cold and I mean fridge cold not room temp cold. The bread looked and tasted stale as well. I couldn’t eat it as it was so cold and hard so thought I would ring the shop up so found number online and rang to find that the number was unrecognisable and I could not get through to complain about it. If I could have I would have taken them back up to shop and got money back but if o could have done that I wouldn’t have to sit at home and order online. My hubby had cheese bites as well and they were cold also. I ended up having to warm it up in my air fryer for a couple of minutes resulting in the bread burning so I’ve wasted all that money for what? Worst subway I have ever been to and we’ve used many subways in past. Disgusting how you can’t even get through to them either to rectify the problem. Why would you not toast it before sending it out. We’ve had from other subways delivered and came hot and toasted with melted cheese....
Read moreLovely sandwiches and salads but this place is too small and understaffed for the demand in the area. They constantly get orders from the food apps like Just Eat, Deliveroo etc whilst juggling customers in the shop. Lunchtimes can be horrendous. I waited 25 minutes the other day just to get served, and there were only a couple of customers in front of me (a queue quickly formed though), but were overwhelmed by the food app orders. One poor delivery guy had been waiting 30 minutes in the shop to pick up his customers order and was understandably getting irate. If Subway are going to accept these orders and work with the food apps, they need capacity to do so, both in terms of space and adequate staffing. It didn't help that it appears staff are constantly in training. They must have a high turnover and I can see why. Sort...

If you do an online order while using your reward card money, they never deliver cancelling the order and nullifying the money you accumulated.
Most importantly, you never get your damn food, I'm just sat here once again, delivery estimate going up by 5 mins, by 5 mins, by 5 mins, absolutely starving and the food isn't ever coming.
No way to cancel, and no way to contact them, seems like they unplugged their phone now, not that they ever answered it when it was plugged in, just rang out.
Should just get shut down again because they're absolutely useless and get the orders wrong half the time when you do get what you ordered, don't know why I'm...
