A nice location. Reasonable parking (pay and display across the road).. Overall this was a pleasant experience. Unfortunately we forgot to take photos but we had a selection of dishes including dim sum, duck, beef in black bean sauce, prawn dishes etc. Too many to list. The food was served timely and was well seasoned and pleasant to eat. The staff were polite and courteous and judging by the conversation other guests had regular returning clientele. My partner and I were in the area and decided we fancied a Chinese for dinner. We looked up local ones in the area and came across Penang Village and thought we would give it a try. We were not disappointed. The food was lovely, the hospitality was good and attentive. Being the only people dinning in during our meal, I can’t say much about the atmosphere, but that didn’t bother us, as we prefer it quiet. We asked what one of the plants inside the restaurant was and ended up being gifted a rooted cutting. Highly recommend, and wish the owners / staff all the best. Best Chinese restaurant in the area. We’ve been going there for many years. Would recommend. Good food and lovely staff. I ate there last night (25/8/20) with family and the restaurant felt very safe. The owner and her son wore face coverings and hand sanitiser was readily available.
