Masala Lounge — Restaurant in Arun

we have been ordering from here for years. the last few months, the food and service has gone down hill. Everytime we order, we ask for my husbands food to be in a separate bag as his curry is really spicy and leaks everywhere. the last 3 times this hasn't happened. last night it exploded all over my rice, naan, and the bajis. these were then not consumable as I can't eat spice. to top if off, I ordered a vegetable korma and got a vegetable dansak. we called to have it amended and was told "it's fine, it's vegetable, there's no meat, you can eat it." it is very different on the spice level as apose to the korma I ordered they then got a korma out to me which the vegetables were not cooked through and it was very runny. we requested a refund from just eat and they have refused it, even with photographic evidence to prove my food was...

Good food but absolutely awful staff and manager. Wrote down sagbahji instead of sagpaneer so called up then said we weren’t getting it since it wasn’t on the order that they misheard. They then passed the phone onto the manager or another worker and got told to go down there right now and he was going to set my house on fire. If I could upload a video of the recording I would but I can only add photos. Make sure you talk very very clear over the phone or they will mess up your order and won’t give you the correct food. Be very aware of the staff and manager of this place....

Took well over an hr to arrive despite being about 200yrds away. Price was wrong, wasn't given a total when ordering and was charged extra for an item that was swapped but never informed. No salad or sauce included at £30 plus order. Very bland greedy service. I don't rate this place at all. Clearly customer service isn't at the top of their priorities. Maximum cost with minimum results. Disappointing regarding this was the 1st Indian meal I've had in 4yrs. I think I'll stick to Chinese. Much better value.
