The Seaview East Preston — Restaurant in Arun

This is our second visit to this hotel within about 6 years and I'm sorry to say that I am very disappointed with how down hill this hotel has now become. I'm not sure if this because of new owners or just the cause that it has just been let to run Down. First of all on arrival we weren't made to feel welcome and weren't even shown to our room. We stayed in the family room over the front door. The room was of good size but was very cold over night. The bed was uncomfortable and had a brocken metal head board which hit our heads during the night. There was a damp mark on the ceiling over the wardrobe and the room had the smallest TV in it that I have ever seen (only 14" ! ). The light bulb in the room took for ever to warm up to brightness the walls and doors were scratched. In the bathroom, the basin had a big crack in it and the shower was cold and had no pressure needs urgent updating. The bath was very slippery to stand in whilst having a shower. For £85 I was very disappointed with the quality of the room and wouldn't pay any more than £60 in its current state. On the plus side, the bar area is quite nice and the cooked breakfast is OK but needs to have more choice in terms of cereals and fruit etc. Repair this to be a lot better last time we stayed, so something has changed ? Do hope something...

There is a extension lead with a kettle plus fan and telly in it plus one empty socket so could overload Blinds let in light at night better with blackout blinds plus you can not get them to stay up to open the windows easy Car park to small had to park up the road not very good residents should have spaces reserved Shower head keep falling down the pole plus the temperature control is vert stiff need strong grip to turn not very satisfactory Handle on draw dose not open the draw comes of in your hand Meant to be refurbished in 2022 not impressed No full length mirror in bedroom there is a chair but not really enough room and no good for ladies doing makeup no dressing table as to much cluster on chest of draws Had a man measuring the carpets whilst people havi Toilet brush needs replacing The food was good 9n the whole but salmon and scrambled egg on toast very poor ....
