It had taken us a while to finally get around to visiting Rita’s Diner but having a week off and reading all the reviews we had to give it a go at last.
And we were not disappointed……. It was busy when we arrived, but we forgot about the lunchtime rush. By the time we left, there was plenty of room, but even when it was busy it was easy to get a table.
Being a MASSIVE PIG I had to order the Grand Canyon breakfast, I was I little worried that even I would have trouble finishing, but in for a penny in for a pound.
The food was cooked perfectly the toast and pancakes came out on separate plates which was nice, nothing worse than food falling off the plate while you’re stuffing your face.
The sausages are HUGE they are your standard mass-produced type, but when they are cooked well you can’t complain, and these were cooked very well.
Eggs…… super orange yokes and really tasty.
Back Pudding!!!! This has to be the best black pudding I’ve ever had, super soft and full of flavour.
My better half had the chips with chilli. This came with a side salad and dip. The chilli was home-cooked, full of flavour and very tasty. The fries were again very well cooked.
The only thing that could have made this better would’ve been a bit of melted cheese on top, but this is just a personal thing.
The price was too good, in total it was close to £16 How this only cost £16 is unbelievably good value for the quality and amount of food.
We will 100% be...
Read moreI walked in for breakfast, first time for a year or 2. I waited for 5 minutes, standing at counter patiently but oblivious to staff. I eventually got a menu and was told to sit at a small table very close to other breakfast diners, which I did not want. Therefore, I sat on a larger table, away from the other diners (the place was all but empty). Almost immediately after I sat down to read the menu, I was ordered away from the table I had sat at and told to sit at a smaller table as I was alone. I did not want to sit in very close proximity to strangers, but I complied at first but then decided to leave before ordering. Completely unprofessional woman and service. I carried on walking and eventually had breakfast at 'West Beach Cafe! I hope Rita and/or your staff are satisfied by...
Read moreOne of the last things I expected to find in Littlehampton Harbour was an American Diner but this hidden gem is exactly what I found. The staff were welcoming and friendly. There was classic 50s rock n roll music playing on the jukebox. There is a lot of classic nostalgia on the walls including Elvis pictures I had an American breakfast, it was very tasty indeed, and a mint chocolate milkshake which was delicious. I wanted to try one of the enormous muffins but I couldn't have managed one after the breakfast, they did look impressive. It was very reasonably priced. I highly recommend this diner to anyone visiting the area or local looking for a tasty...
