The Beach — Restaurant in Arun

Let me tell you about my experience here. And it is amazing. Let me tell you why. This cafe is great in every area that a person could review.

First of all, I never thought that I would want a toastie, ever. I decided to try one and let me tell you that is the best toastie I've ever had and I actually regret never buying one before. The ham and cheese one is really delicious and I would recommend it. For people who like ham and cheese at least, and anyone else who wants to try it.

Secondly the staff were really lovely, they had a polite smile on their face. They made me feel welcome, they explained to me what a toastie and pastries were when I asked. They were patient with me. And they also gave me some crisps on my plate with my toasties which were really nice. It's a nice touch to it.

Prices are reasonable in my opinion for what they offer. The staff clearly put a lot of thought into what they do.

I can't particularly comment on the outdoor seating cause I've not been there but from what I've observed so far the customers are really happy.

The staff members also kindly let me use text-to-speech because my hands are aching right now which I'm really grateful for (grateful for them letting me use text to speech, not for the fact my hands are aching from too much typing)

The takeaway service was pretty good too. Last time I came here I ordered chips and they were really good.

To add to that the sea view is phenomenally beautiful. If this wasn't my reality I would think this was from a movie. The atmosphere in there is very peaceful.

My final note is that I will definitely be coming here again once I actually get a job. If you're not coming to the cafe or haven't yet then what are you waiting for, it's amazing and you're missing out if you're not.

To be fair, I only stopped for a coffee so will need to revisit for a bite to eat. The structure of the 'restaurant' part of the building is basic with unfinished wood all over. There are power/USB sockets by the tables and a window overlooking the prom. The coffee was served in takeaway cups... perhaps understandable but not particularly environmentally friendly.
