Found it generally okay, although if I'm honest, it wasn't really for me. There was a lot of cream and all in all it just wasn't as good as I'd hoped. It fills you up very quickly and was just a bit too overwhelmingly rich. Also not having an actual menu to look at was a bit frustrating, joining the wifi and downloading the app was a lot of effort. A suggestion would be a single tablet that could be used by customers to view the menu would be a good idea as well as the app option.
*In reply to the response. We were not told about the device inside that could be used, even when stating none of us had the app and had no internet. We were advised to join the wifi and get the app and to "stop finding problems". And your right, The Parlour isn't what I was looking for, I was hopeful of something as a bit of a nice treat, that I could actually finish and enjoy. 5 of us had something and the majority were not even close to finishing it. Maybe we would have had a better experience if we had not have picked the Terry's waffles. Either way it's just our opinion. Looking at the other responses you've put to any other negative/mediocre comment it just matches up with the experience of meeting you at the parlour and the responses are...
Read moreFirst time of visiting today... I had a banoffee cone which was nice and adequate. Unfortunately my partner ordered the Creme egg sundae. This consisted of 50% whipped cream 40% vanilla ice cream and 10% chocolate sauce which was mainly drizzled on the plate for decoration... a Creme egg cut in half was the best it got. Would have at least liked it in a glass or china bowl. Consequently only being classes as a takeaway premises this is not possible... Paperless... no menu 🤔 I get the idea but what about the existing generation of people that don’t operate a smart phone confidently? Reading the responses from other reviews I have no doubt this will be met with defence and “we don’t need your business attitude” seams no space for constructive criticism and most certainly no place for the customer is...
Read morePaperless ice cream parlour .....you need to download their app to see the menu. 4 of us were then huddled around a phone in the sun trying to read it. Impossible .....we made our own creations up. You need to click on each individual choice to then click on each item within that choce to read what it was. It was ridiculous.....we were told it was because they are paperless ....why cant the menu be painted on the wall? ....I was then given a PAPER order number written out on a paper ordering book!!!! The service we recieved was rude and extremely unhelpful. Thumping music playing and we were sitting outside. Such a shame, as it could be a lovely addition to Arundel....but the rude service, unflexibility and so called paperless menu means we will not...
