Very, very poor service. We popped in for a drink we were informed that we could not have a drink only, we had to eat too (even if we weren't hungry). We agreed to it thinking we could at least order some snacks etc. The lady at the service desk was falsely nice. Once at the table, we did not receive menus for at least 20 minutes, so we were scrolling the internet in search of cocktails. Two bartenders were there, doing absolutely nothing (but still no time to provide us with a service) and just looking at us. Finally one decided to come. We ordered drinks. They finally arrived after another few minutes we were asked to pay. Then that lady came to us asking if we wanted to order food when we did not even have a chance to look at a menu which, was not given to us for a while. We said we needed a few more minutes. She didn't even offer to accommodate us at the restaurant, we were sitting in the "waiting" area. Both my friend and I decided to leave so this is what we did. The place would look nice but the cheap red lights on scaffolding etc give the "house of I'll flame" impression, look cheap and do not go with anything else. Nice place, very noisy and busy at the time we went but that was probably because it was 50% pastas and pizzas! We were a party of 4 and they ended up only bringing 3 mains out which they didn’t even notice until we pointed out they’d forgotten one. Not a great start but they pulled it back by removing a dessert from the bill :) I had spaghetti bolognese, others had the breaded chicken pasta dish and the lasagne. All very tasty dishes!! We had blueberry pannacotta and lemon meringue roulade and both were beautiful. Staff seemed to be a little distracted by how busy it was and they weren’t as attentive as they could have been, didn’t ask if wanted more drinks we had to grab a speeding body to make our request. Again this was most likely due to how busy it was. All in all an average experience, but I’d go again if it wasn’t so noisy and I could sit in a corner instead of right next to the kitchen bit.
