We took our son and his wife out for a meal here, unfortunately my wifes starter was burnt as was my main course but we didnt say anything because we don't like to complain and to be fair the rest of the food was ok. We had all chosen from the Wednesday's meal deal which looked excellent value, and again, to be fair it isnt bad value but what really shocked and upset us was the final bill, £43 for four meals, this would be good value but £28 for two glasses of coke each wow!!!!!!!! £3.50 per glass of coke. When I asked about the price they were very rude, I remained polite and said that I was not disputing the bill but thought the price of £3.50 for a glass of coke was unreasonable and that this had spoilt what otherwise would have been an ok experience, I was told "that was the price and we can't do anything about it!" I said that it was a shame but it would stop me returning here again, there response was "are you threatening us?. I was so shocked by this that I have decided to let other people know about it. We will not be returning! this is not a threat its...
Read moreDelivery Ordered for a 7 pm delivery this quickly changed to 7:30. Food did not arrive until 8:55 nearly 2 hours after my originally requested delivery time and an hour and a half after the first confirmed delivery time.
Service My husband called multiple times and was repeatedly told the driver left 2 minutes ago. A little honesty on our first call and we would have canceled our order and collect from our local instead.
Food quality The food was barely warm when it got to us. Except weirdly the mango chutney was very hot and watery. The Daal had a burnt garlic taste to it, couldn't eat it. The Prawn tandoori main looked like it was a starter portion, but we didn't eat it. The prawns were mushed up and had a concerning sour fishy taste to them like they were old or 'off'. My husband ate one prawn and said it tasted bad, I tried a bite and spat it out. We decided not to risk getting food poisoning and stopped eating.
The naans were the highlight. Apparently, bread is had for even this...
Read moreA family-run restaurant that clearly takes pride in delivering an excellent quality service.
Bibiana houses a wonderfully welcoming and warm atmosphere, serving up fresh, authentic and satiating meals that are packed with diverse flavour profiles. As we were open-minded, we went by staff recommendations, which was very helpful, and in the end, we were advised to sample the items from their Traditional Menu (Jalfrezi, Tikka Masala, Karahi and Bhuna). Next time, we look forward to trying out even a greater range of items off the menu, especially at such reasonable pricepoints. Our advice to you, do order the Masala Chips!
Finally, we were so pleased by the attentiveness of the staff and their faultless service. Thank you to the entire team, and especially Mohammed, whose kindness and professionalism made our first visit so special.
And so, we absolutely recommend Bibiana, and promise to return sometime in the...
