This is a hidden gem unless you're already familiar with the history of Lord Byron. It's incredibly ornate inside, and that's the stuff other than Byron-related. Parking is free for an hour just outside, but if you choose not to pay for additional time, then you will have to keep an eye on the clock. There's so much to see it's easy to forget how long you've been there. Fortunately they also have a tea shop and toilets (very nice, modern toilets). The volunteer guides are very welcoming and knowledgeable. Before you leave, please consider a donation as the upkeep cannot be cheap.
