Puccini's — Restaurant in Barnsley

Couldn't ask for better service! The owner was so friendly and made his way around all the tables greeting everyone and making conversation. His wife was lovely also making conversation and greeting every table. The lady with dark hair was lovely, excellent at her job as we're all. And the son was also amazing at his job and was talking to everyone. My children were welcomed and they were all amazing with them. My eldest doesn't talk to anyone and they were making him smile! My youngest was taken around the restaurant by the owner ( my son was starting to get aggitated) and he stopped crying and was looking around. Then the owners wife took him and it was lovely to see how great they were with children as me and my partner tend to avoid places like this incase our children create. Ok missing the point slightly.. the food!! Oh my gosh the food.. it was amazing, tasteful and a nice sized meal. I cannot describe the food as it was so nice. Truly amazing place for friendliness and lovely food! Will definitely be returning and reccomend to all my family and friends. Thank you all for an amazing...

First time at Puccini's but will be going back. The hallway leading to the dining room has a great looking stairway to your LH side. The dining room is functional and very clean. I ordered a Pizza for starters and they did me a smaller version followed by Pancakes and a side portion of fries. The food was delicious, it was the best pizza I have ever had. The service was good and there was no waiting to be served what you had ordered. The chicken pancake was also on par and the only downside was the lack of chips in the bowl. Four of us ordered a side of chips and it appeared as though they had done enough for three and then tried to make them look more in the bowls. Small details but I want them to be aware that something insignificant maybe taking away from the excellent experience. All in all, one of Barnsley'...

Unfortunately, my recent experience at this restaurant was extremely disappointing. Every dish seemed to be drowned in the same overpowering tomato sauce, which completely masked any other flavors. On top of that, everything was overcooked, and the seafood crepe was a mushy mess. It's safe to say that none of us were satisfied with our meals, and we ended up leaving in a hurry after paying the bill. Overall, it was a letdown, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone looking for a quality Italian dining experience.
