Costa Coffee — Restaurant in Bassetlaw

I visited costa today to buy a coffee for my train. There was a long queue but I was served in time to board my train. I was hugely impressed by the calmness and efficiency of the single barista working there (I think she was called Natasha). She served everyone with a smile on her face and seemed completely unaffected by the busyness and the time pressure! She also recommended the lunch deal as a way to save money....

Ideally situated at the station. Called in whilst waiting for the London train, ordered 2 coffees and was about to order biscuits and cakes until I noticed flies on the pastries. This Costa Coffee bar must protect the open food trays from instances like this if they are to survive. This experience has certainly put me off visiting Costa Coffee outlets...

Nice location and store decor but really poor service. 6 staff stood behind the counter talking and cleaning things not one thought to say they would get to the queue in a minute so after a few minutes of waiting someone ahead of me asked to be served and from then on the staff seemed really annoyed that they had to serve people.
