Chinese Chef over all is a great producer of Chinese and Cantonese food (done the British way of course) this means you are sure to find something you will like.

However Chinese Chef does suffer from what a lot of Chinese restaurants do in England. With no digital presence such as a Facebook page (even this google business page isn't managed) it is notoriously hard to find any information online (including the menu). The Decor is off-putting as it feels dirty (its not, its just dated) and with a cash only system in a modern world it makes accessibility to those who aren't paid cash in hand.

Moved to Retford Dec 19 and tried a few before finding this one. Service was great. Delivery speedy. Then last 2 weeks have noticed portions have gone from being in a plastic container to a metal tray with card lid. (1/3 less of a portion! ) also pancake roll has shrunk to the size of a spring roll! Delivery took nearly 2 hrs when was promised in an hr or there abouts. No Prawn Crackers which r usually free! Now £20 which used to feed me and my partner well is barely enough for 1 person. Thinking of looking elsewhere which is disappointing as the food...

Amazing food and amazing staff! They have a great service and they still provide the standards when busy. The staff always have a smile on their face and as a customer makes me very happy. The food is good quality and is very flavourful. I recommend the egg fried rice. Amazing!!! Keep up...
