This was an exciting pub to visit, set in a glorious ancient building and having an old-school design! This is also welcoming through the Beach Bar imagery, classic signs are worthy and the counter is well-presented. What a dump this is now!!!. Used to be a fantastic pub - best in Retford. Real pub selling real ales but oh dear oh dear what has gone wrong? The person who runs it now used to run other pubs in Retford, all of them have closed down now, get the hint?

It's now full of low-lifes and I wouldn't dream of going in there now, far too rough. Can't see this staying open...
