We visited the cafĂ© expecting to have food, as there were no signs displayed to say it had stopped being served. Menus were still available to pick up, so naturally we tried to order. Unfortunately, we were met with a very abrupt response of âwe arenât serving foodâ. I asked politely if it might be possible to at least prepare a childrenâs ham sandwich, but was again met with a blunt ânoâ, with the explanation that staff were on lunch breaks. On a busy Sunday, this seems like poor planning â especially when a simple solution could have been to pause hot food service but still offer sandwiches or lighter options.
As a result, my daughterâs âlunchâ ended up being Pom Bears and chocolate, which was disappointing given the cafĂ© does normally serve food. To make things more frustrating, about ten minutes later another customer asked for food, initially received the same refusal, but after complaining, was served a panini. Consistency is key, and it felt very unfair to be dismissed so abruptly when others were accommodated after being more forceful.
I hope the cafĂ© can improve communication (clear signage), consistency in service, and consider better planning on busy days so families arenât left...

Their breakfast bap is a firm favourite. You can't get a tastier one at the price anywhere else in Bath or Corsham. Their Viennese fingers are delicious and bring back childhood memories and their coffee is definitely the best around.
The staff are amazing, chatty, friendly, efficient and welcoming from Nick (may his soul rest in peace) to Emma and the rest of the team.
I'm moving abroad and will really miss this pitstop to and from my old workplace, but as a keepsake and wanting a mug for my new workplace, I ordered a personalised mug from Alice Park cafe. It's perfect - just like...

Great little park with something for everyone. Alice Park Cafe was a great conclusion to my stay. Coffee at places like this are so often disappointing, but NOT here. Nothing too intense or too weak, and definitely not bitter (unlike the Seattle coffee) but a simply flavoursome crema and well frothed milk. Great choices for a proper cafe style breakfast. I had the Alice Your Breakfast Bap - needed to avoid bacon & sausage (already had my occasional food this week), so had mix of egg, mushrooms, cheese and corn fritter from the âChoose 4â list. Very happy with the result! Will definitely return on my next morning...
