I recently dined at this restaurant, and I must express my disappointment. It seemed like there were instances of discrimination at this establishment. Upon our initial entry, the restaurant was bustling, and we were left waiting without any apology. To make matters worse, one of my friends overheard a staff member commenting on our volume, which left us feeling uncomfortable. It's perplexing that a restaurant would complain about noisy patrons and not warmly accommodate us, even displaying rudeness.
Throughout our meal, I felt that neither I nor my friends rushed or urged the staff to serve our dishes, be it for water or food. Nevertheless, a server approached us to request that we refrain from rushing them, assuring us that our dishes would arrive promptly. Yet, we ended up waiting for over half an hour with nothing served. The food appeared excessively salty, making it quite unpalatable.
Due to the overall lack of attentiveness and consideration, my friends and I had an unpleasant dining experience. Therefore, we made the decision not to pay the service charge when settling the bill. To our astonishment, the manager questioned us in a rude and hostile tone, asking why we didn't pay. He cited our party size of six as the reason for the mandatory service charge. This left us puzzled and frustrated; should we be compelled to pay for such abysmal service?
To exacerbate our disappointment, the server not only failed to express any remorse for the subpar service we endured but also, with an angry tone, inquired, “So, how much are you willing to pay?” What’s more, when we were ready to settle the bill, they intentionally left us waiting for an additional ten minutes, neglecting us while taking other customers’ orders, despite the presence of other staff members. This treatment has left a bitter impression on my first visit to Northern Ireland, and I am thoroughly disheartened by this experience...
Read moreNice ambience in terms of the decoration, good music playlist for our tastes at least, good menu choices, the food is generally really good quality. However the staff are quite abrupt and I was actually scared of the waiter who seemed put out to say the least when I asked any questions. One word almost answers in an aggressive tone and fierce stares. Until it came to paying the bill and then we suddenly found out that he could actually articulate a sentence. Couldn't have been nicer in fact as he handed over the card machine with a question displayed asking if we wanted to add a tip. I've been here previously and had similar service, my elderly mother in law looked terrified by the way she was being spoken to when she was trying to understand the menu. There's really no need for the aggressive approach. The previous time we went there was a new waitress (and I was pleased to see that they had finally employed a woman onto the team) who seemed very friendly. This time round she seemed to have become somewhat cold and unfriendly as well sadly. Although I wondered if she'd just lost the will from being in that environment. This time round I was not happy that I asked for a drop more gravy as my dish was a little dry and was charged £3 extra for it when I got the bill. Also we had to ask for the early bird menus and were spoken to as if we were asking for our dinner for free, despite that we had booked early to avail of it and were there in time for it. Hubby said he wasn't too keen on his meal. Unfortunately I think it's just not what it used to be in terms of quality. I thought mine tasted good but I did notice that about a third of my muscles were empty shells so I felt a little disappointed with that. Mainly it's the attitude of the staff. It's just upsetting. I don't think we'll be...

The service here was extremely poor and, frankly, showed a hint of racial discrimination. When I was ordering and politely asked about the dishes, the waiter responded very impatiently and even said, “If you haven’t decided, don’t order.”
I ordered the Seafood Chowder. The taste was acceptable, but when I got to the salmon pieces, I found multiple fish bones—at least three—which even injured my gums. I called the waiter over to inform him, but instead of apologizing, he just said that he had “never heard of such a situation before” and offered no compensation or apology-even without saying sorry.
I couldn’t finish the dish because the gum was hurted. When I asked for the leftovers to be packed, only used a single paper box, which was honestly ridiculous for a dish with soup.
At checkout, I expressed my dissatisfaction, but the waiter said there was no compensation or refund because “you ate it.” His attitude was rude, and when I declined to add service fee at pos machine, he showed an obvious unhappy expression.
Overall, this was a very unpleasant experience with unsafe food and extremely poor service. I would not recommend this place to anyone. One of the worst dining experiences...
