Very underwhelming and disappointing. We have been to previous Teppanyaki restaurants and always loved them. There was no atmosphere and it wasn’t really a show of the cooking. The tempura starters were disappointing, the batter was chewy and undercooked. For the main my salmon was so bland and overcooked, I couldn’t even finish it. Mine was cooked after someone else’s on the table, which meant my husband had nearly finished prior to me getting my meal. The only reason why I have put more than 1 star, is that the duck was cooked really well and was enjoyed. From observing the chef having to remake another guests fish too, it comes across as it’s cooking with fish that’s the problem. So disappointed and feels like a complete waste of money! We were the only ones dining on the ground floor of the restaurant on Sunday evening. The starters were very slow to come out. Then after 1hr and 30 min of waiting, we are informed that there won’t be any sushi for another hour or so. Most of the table had ordered sushi. We were shocked that it would take 1hr and 30 min to inform us. We would have happily ordered something else at the start. We then change our order as at this point we were starving.
