Firstly apologies to the staff and the customers who standing behind us in drive thru (last monday morning 4 am). Thanks for giving us food that day, despites my mates are ordering like crazy (like drunken monkeys). Food was nice, new italian chicken burger was not upto the mark, feels like i wasted £7 in that overcooked bap with half cooked meat in it. Nuggets are heaven for teen age groups. 5 of us we ordered 60 nuggets. That's terrific. Had pleasant feel while having food in parking. Good for kids, teens and all age groups.

The staff here are great and so is the service. Consequently I am a regular here. I had to complain to the manager this evening that all the disabled parking bays are full and none of the cars have blue badges. His reply was "What would you like me to do about it?" I would like him to pass the issue on to the supervisor to make them aware of it. A word with the offenders as they get back into their cars might make them reflect on their actions. You never know.

Don’t go on Friday evening if you want served before the food goes cold / out of date. The demand, particularly from the delivery services, massively outstrips the ability of the staff to supply it. When I eventually got served, this was the cheeseburger. The atmosphere was so stressed I was expecting a mass brawl. I’ll drive to Dublin before I ever use this place again.

This is the absolute worst McDonald's I've ever been in and makes the Knocknagoney one (2nd worst) seem like it's got a Michelin star. Ever since the re-fit over the summer it has gone to the absolute dogs. It is like a cattle market when you go in. The counter is on your right when you enter and there are so many people waiting in the lobby that it is difficult to even get through the door let alone get to one of the order screens - which are often broken anyway. Ordering in advance by the app doesn't make things any quicker... I waited over 25 mins for 2 coffees the other evening as it was just so busy and can only assume the amount of staff was totally unable to deal with the amount of customers. A victim of their own success? Funny tho that the delivery drivers (who now gladly have their own door) come and go with great frequency and staff can be seen constantly setting out bag after bag for them to collect yet the rate at which the regular customers are handed out their orders is painful. It seems that delivery orders are prepared far qucker and given preferential treatment than those who don't pay through the nose for the pleasure of cold food being brought to them. Lots of customers appeared at the door and then turned and left when they saw the state of the place - being barely unable to get through the door without feeling you were trying to get round the dancefloor at Kelly's. Feel for the staff who are clearly run off their feet all shift and constantly seeming to be correcting orders - but maybe bring more of them in or provide them better equipment to deal with the...

update since 'refit' this place is laughable. It's been closed for a 6 week £1million refit and the main big sign still has a big bit missing, the parking is still horrendous, and the inside of the restaurant is as bad, in fact worse (it looks like its been done for the sake of it), the staff as miserable still getting simple orders wrong, and the printers on the order machines still don't work. Avoid. Avoid. Avoid. As below.

Of the McDonald's in the East Belfast area, I would stay away from this one at all costs. The drive through is always a shambles, unfriendly, mumbled, frequently get something as simple as a plain burger in a happy meal wrong. Ordering inside isn't much better and even at 8am the staff are monosyllabic (Google it). It also seems to be a central hang out place for fast food delivery drivers so they block the entrance and parking. And entrance and egress in general is appalling and if busy you often can't get out as the drive thru queue blocks exit (surely an issue if an emergency vehicle needed to get in). I've been told it's the busiest McDonald's in NI, but this doesn't seem to be a good thing. The service, food quality and order accuracy is 100% better at Knocknagoney, Dundonald, Saintfield Rd and Sprucefield to name but a few. I had better service at the McDonald's at Gatwick Airport. Only the Belfast city centre one is worse.

Something tells me the refit it's getting won't help. Same miserable staff in the same miserable area with the same entitled miserable customer base. Avoid...

I was ordering many times with delivery because my time it's very struggle ( not have time for delight in one restaurant) and happened again my order it was incomplete missing items,so I decided to go in restaurant to make one complayn about this situation for don't repeat again, but the employee in front of desk she knows why I came in front because when I start to tell her why I went there she completes my phrase "fries!"" and she asking me why I am there I need a 🍟??? This is a joke?? I paid for quality service and for food delivery and she asking me after when I said my order it is incomplete if I need a 🍟 missing. Obviously I came in my time to take the missing fries 🍟 I payed for delivery why I went???? I want to speak with manager and came other employees he take my order in back and don't tell what happened , when I ask he talk to me some I don't understood what he said I they left me in front of desk to waiting for non explications. I asked again the employee who is possible to get my complayn and she said I have to email on the address of my recipe ww.mcdfoodforthoughts.com.Obviosly I have to send email but review for quality service it is 0 zero ⭐ they are unrespectful and don't have attitude to work with clients, our time it's not for waiting and feel like I come for charity, I pay for food, delivery and a good service so if the restaurant not have a great employee they have to decide if we are...
