Once you decide for it just go for it. Menu options are very good and plenty to choose from. It is also reasonably priced. You can BYOB and the corkage fee is £3. The restaurant is quite spacious and there are plenty of public car parking places outside. For the good stuff... Food is absolutely and I mean it is delicious. Fresh, chicken kebab is juicy and just so well marinated that it is a defo good experience. We went as a family of 5, 3 kids (9,7,5) We had : Moussaka with fries , greek platter with chicken and chicken Shawarma. Just to go further, the food is done over the charcoal, life fire BBQ so the place gets filled in by all the tasty smells coming from it. And then the hardest part... The wait time was 45 minutes in the meantime we didn't receive any updates or weren't offered any water or drinks. Also it took about 20 mins for us to place the order as nobody was attending our table. Finally after placing the order the waiter came back 15mins later to advise that one of the positions is no longer available. Overall our visit was close to two hours, we didn't mind it as we weren't under pressure but we have seen some people leaving due to no update on food time or long wait time to the place order. Maybe they were short staffed on that day (04/05/24) or weren't expected to be so busy. In my opinion, Food is very good but the owners should maybe invest in some staff training to become more customer focused.

Tatziki restaurant offered a delightful dining experience. We ordered the mixed grill for 2-3, which could easily be the best kebab in Belfast. The flavors were rich, and everything was incredibly tasty—I absolutely loved it. We also tried the Greek meatballs, though they didn’t quite meet my expectations. The atmosphere at Tatziki really captures the essence of Greece, from the music to the authentic flavors in the food. However, one downside was the waitress who took our order—she seemed cold, as if it wasn’t her best day, which made us wonder if she didn’t like us. On a positive note, the cashier was very kind and left a much better impression. As for pricing, it was quite reasonable considering the quality of the food and overall experience—not overly expensive at all. I didn’t leave an additional tip since they charge a service fee, but had the service been more pleasant, I would have tipped extra. If you’re a fan of kebabs or Greek cuisine, Tatziki is definitely worth a visit!

For was very good and good size portions. We went for the meze platter starter, and the special mixed grill main. All tasted great. Staff were a bit "faulty towers", and hard to attract their attention when needed. They didn't have enough glasses for water so we had to share one glass between each couple. Best bit was they let us smash plates at end of the mean. Overall we had a great time.....oh, and it's being your own drink, so overall great value. They charge corkage but only charged a single corkage of £3 for the group of 6. Will be back for sure.

Been in that restaurant last Friday afternoon with my wife for the second time and planning to never go back there and I don't recommend it to anyone at the moment at least! First after given a very badly position table in the restaurant and wasn't given any other choice when we were the first arriving there, they alleged the other tables are booked but according to what I noticed with my wife the middle tables were empty all the time?! After long and unreasonable time of waiting finally we were served, the waiter girl wasn't professional at all even her appearance you think she's stylish model very cold personality and not friendly! My wife asked for a water after waiting a bottle of arrived without glasses and even after we been served, before leaving the restaurant with bad experience i had a chat with the manager and she was a short black curly hair, she didn't show any interest listening to me and what I wanted to complain about, she was more worse than the Waiter girl and not professional at all for a manager of a restaurant, me and my wife we were very disappointed and left with very bad mood, the food quality and the way was served was the worse part of this story, Chips very bad quality compared to my wife and her friends last visit three months ago, the waiter girl was different. The Shawarma was very very small burned pieces and mixed with many chicken skin pieces, it was disgusting and never tasted or saw a shawarma like that in my entire life, the tortilla or the bread of the wrap was very very thin and badly wrapped when the filling was more than worse, shawarma was mixed with small pieces of tomatoe and leaves of salad when we ordered extra filling and there were not sauce inside and you can imagine the taste with burn shawarma pieces, disgusting and awful! i took the order like any customer in the world to complain and at least I get a new well served and good quality order because it can happens in any restaurant in the world but I was shocked from the manager altitude which was very rude and even aggressive i can describe in the end by throwing my order plates very rudely front of me and other customers behind the till i swear was scary especially when coming from female manger, she alleged that the shawarma is served the same all over Belfast and it's normal it comes with chicken skin pieces and sometimes little burn which is as we know all is A BIG LIE to justify everything!!! I asked my wife to don't pay because I am not and leaves because we didn't at all but she insisted to do and she had as well to wait front the till where the same manager was standing and ignoring her completely and focusing on the orders and delivery men, it was the case I confirm nearly ten minutes without exaggeration taking in consideration the way was very small and my wife was bothered several times by the delivery men movement! My wife talked for short to her and i saw the manager woman telling you don't have to eat as you didn't eat at all!!! it was awful experience and I don't advice any of you to go there at least under such management! Before I forget we didn't get any sauce as we asked for garlic sauce after long waiting and after i went to the till to remind the waiter girl I got served and my wife as well with very tiny portion of sauce and was very messy served look! i felt the duty to share my experience with other customers here and i will let you decide! Many thanks for reading all this...

I have been to the restaurant several times. I wouldn't go back again after tonight for the second time I happened to drive to the restaurant after work only to find out the restaurant was closed. It was 8pm and the opening hours on their own website is 9pm, on google it's 10pm. We asked if we could sit because the waiter gave us a pretty bad look but he said Yes. He immediately went outside (where the owners were smoking) and less than a minute after seating us, told us the place was closed so we had to leave. Sorry folks, but this is extremely unprofessional. If you don't feel like working at that time, change the hours instead of lying to your customers because they won't come back.

Usually the food is not bad BUT Nothing To Do with Greek food... (only the music is Greek) They serve chicken, beef and lamb, typical of most kebab shops in Belfast. But they pretend they are Greek, not just a kebab shop? I grew up 2 hours drive from Greece, I have been there many times and I know Greek cuisine and the taste of gyros very well. In a Greek gyros shop, you can order chicken or pork gyros. I didn't see any pork in their manu. There is no such thing as a beef/lamb gyros. Its tastes ok but its just a kebab. The Chicken Gyros in Tzatziki contains completely different spices compared to an authentic Greek Gyros. Taste like middle east spices. Their Moussaka is very tasty and very close to a Greek one wich I appreciate and thats the only reason I was going back to that shop and only reason why I'm giving 3 stars and no less.

Also if you sit in you may be charged 2-3 pound extra because you sit in. Usually I go with friends and don't notice the final price, but once I went alone and I notice they've charged me for siting in without warning me.

I was very excited that a Greek restaurant finally opened in Belfast, but unfortunately - it's not authentic. If the owners are Greek they should know that for sure. If they are not I wish them to visit that beautiful country and taste some authentic Greek gyros. Its amazing.

Just 30 minutes outside of Belfast there is a Greek takeaway where the gyros taste more like the authentic one...

Goodbye and if you really want to offer Greek food I really wish you...

Tzatziki

Although only a recent addition to Botanic Avenue’s thriving foodie scene, our return to Belfast’s only Greek Restaurant, Tzatziki, was definitely overdue, so we were delighted to receive a lunch invitation from this increasingly popular taverna-style, family-run restaurant offering a variety of dishes in Greek, Mediterranean, and BBQ styles.

This relaxed and welcoming restaurant has an authentic menu featuring a range of starters, mains, and desserts which will soon get your mouth watering. Tzatziki is unlicensed at present, but has a BYOB policy.

We were treated to a Meze for two, tailored to a pescatarian diet, featuring favourites from the menu, and fresh fish specials.

The Spanakopitakia were delicious buttery filo parcels stuffed with herbs and cheese, and the flatbreads were accompanied by Tzatziki.

The warm seafood salad included mussels, prawns, & baby squid, all combined with rice, olives & feta. And we loved the tomato & cheese stuffed baked peppers. We also enjoyed the cheesy stuffed calamari, and the perfectly grilled octopus.

But the star of the show was the whole Sea Bream, charcoal grilled, and presented beautifully on a circular wooden platter with rice and salad. And neck and neck for first place was the simple and comforting Prawn Saganaki in a moreish tomato and cheese sauce, sizzling hot straight from the oven. All washed down with some strong Greek coffee, this was a great value feast of simple, authentic, healthy Greek...
