Atlantic Fish Bar — Restaurant in Birmingham

Chips were cooked fresh and tasted pretty good so I can't complain about that. The curry sauce tasted off though and not good quality at all plus the sausage was the driest I've ever had so overall not great. Also hate how all the prices are covered up(which it's been that way for at least the last 6months/my last visit) as you have to ask and feels like you're at risk of being overcharged. The lad serving is always polite and welcoming, I just wish the rest matched...

Order: Large Fish & Chips with Curry Sauce

Fish cooked to order but the texture was like rubber (definitely pre-frozen and not fresh).

Chips tasted decent but portion size was very small. Still hungry after this “large” portion.

Curry sauce had to be microwaved even though it was stored in a warming container.

No price-list and cash only.

Was told they’re refurbing the place. (looking at previous reviews, it’s been like this for a while)
