Burger & Flame — Restaurant in Birmingham

Real let down about this place as this was my go to place for food before every home game. Came here on 24/08/24 at 14:15, with the shutters up, shop open with signs saying open and the shop door open. For me to be turned around and spoken to in a rude tone by a male staff member to say 10-15 minutes (referring to the time they will open) when on google, it stated that they open at 12pm.

I do not like to rant and complaint. However, you got to update your opening hours on google by providing accurate opening hours because you are misleading your customers. If the shop is going to open late, make an announcement on social media or make a note on the shop door to inform customers. And to be spoken to in a rude manner was unprofessional and that there was no need what so ever. Where was the duty of care for your customers?

Getting into the food, I have ordered a signature burger meal (spicy dipped chicken burger meal) and this is a real let down because I’ve had it in the past with the spicy dipped burger with no issues and it was tasty, flavourful and delicious. However, my burger was undercooked where the burger was so tough to eat. Real let down and the fries were a let down too. In terms of sauces, you need to have enough sauce in the tub and not provide almost empty bottle of sauce (the garlic sauce).

Customer loyalty does not mean anything here in this place. Honestly, this has been a let down and never have I ever had a bad experience here and loved coming here on match days. This place small but friendly atmosphere when you walk in.

Can roughly seat about 20 to 30 people.

I've been here twice now. Once to eat in and once i had a takeaway. Both times blown away by service and quality.

The signature Burger is a must try! If you love your chicken burgers do not miss out. I topped mine with x2 fillets and damn was it good. ( I forgot to take the picture of this burger as I dug in to it straight away lol).

I have also tried the chicken burrito and smash burger from here and they are extremely flavoursome and filling and this place does not even leave a dent in your pocket! So worth it for the price you pay.

If you are ever about go check them out and honestly i don' t think you would be dissapointed!

Came back after a while giving them the benefit of the doubt and hoped things had changed but sadly no It has seriously gone down hill. I was embarrassed as I had taken my family and wasted over £40 waited almost an hour amd the food was still cold and tasted stale. We ordered the signature burger and it was disgusting nothing like what we had when they first opened. Nachos and cheese tasted cheap. The grilled bbq donner was just the sauce mixed up in a plate of donner guess he forgot to grill it. When i asked the chef he didn't know the difference between a grill and a stir fry wok.
