Costa Coffee — Restaurant in Birmingham

I completely understand that it is not your staff to blame but its so annoying that virtually every time when I walk past on my way to work to get a coffee I always get hassled by someone sat in ur doorway asking for change and when Iv offered them a hot drink they hav declined my offer and instead asked if instead of a hot drink would i mind giving them the money instead and I just don't think it should be encouraged allowing those living on the streets to sit outside your shops and keep annoying your customers on there way in and out the cafe . It really did annoy me today because the same person is always outside your wylde green branch and is always hassling people for money and food etc and I hav seen him be wot I would describe as quite intimidating towards people who may well b bit vulnerable and I'm sure you dont want somebody constantly sat outside your coffee shop puttin of your customers all day by keep going up to them and asking for change food etc . I recently visited Costa Coffee in Wylde Green, Birmingham to celebrate a birthday, and it was a fantastic experience.

The atmosphere was cosy and welcoming, perfect for a relaxed celebration. There’s plenty of space inside, with comfortable chairs that made us feel at ease while we enjoyed our drinks and treats.

Parking was hassle-free with up to 2 hours free, which is always a bonus. The café is wheelchair accessible, including accessible toilets, making it a great spot for everyone to enjoy.

We were served quickly, and the staff members were polite and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed.

While Costa’s prices can be on the higher side, it’s not too noticeable unless you’re a daily visitor. Overall, for a special occasion like a birthday, it was absolutely worth it!

Not up to the usual standards of Costa. Drinks were not hot enough, so we had to return them and ask for them to be re-made. Cakes tasted stale and the selection of cakes available was poor. I did mention when ordering that I had a voucher for a free cake for my birthday, but this was ignored, and I was charged for both cakes. This voucher expires today, so I guess I have missed out. Staff seemed disinterested, unfriendly and just generally fed up. The store was dirty, and did not have a nice atmosphere. There is a serious problem with homelessness in the area, and they all seem to congregate near. I will not be returning to this Costa again, and would think twice about visiting any Costa if this is the standard that...
