I recently had the pleasure of dining at Namaste sutton, and it was an experience I won't soon forget. From the moment I stepped inside, I was greeted with warm hospitality and a cozy ambiance that set the stage for an unforgettable meal.To start, I highly recommend trying the chicken momos as an appetizer. The delicate dumplings were bursting with flavor and served with a perfectly balanced dipping sauce that added just the right amount of kick. For the main course, we opted for the traditional nepali dish, and it exceeded all expectations. The curry was hearty and comforting, while the rice complemented the flavors beautifully. Each bite was a tantalizing journey through the rich culinary heritage of Nepal. The service throughout the meal was impeccable, with attentive staff ensuring that every need was met without being intrusive. Special thanks to karki dai for their friendly demeanor and excellent recommendations.

We pre-booked for Namaste at the weekend for a birthday for our party of 9. Table service was prompt, the waiter took our drinks & they arrived swiftly after & then taking our food orders. Amongst us, we ordered a variety of curry dishes from Prawn to lamb, chicken, daals and lamb chops too. The food arrived within 30 minutes after ordering and tasted as good as it looked. We were pleasantly surprised with all the meals & there was enough meat in each curry and not 3 lumps swimming in sauce. We left feeling very plump after dinner. Overall it was fantastic, we had a great time, atmosphere was perfect with gentle music in the background. The food was good quality & portion size. We would definitely come back again. The restaurant was really nice with Pearl wallpaper, black brick and dangling lights. Namaste is located on a mini retail park with free parking, a 10mins walk from the local Chester Road Station.

Recently, a client of mine hosted an exceptional event at Namaste Sutton Coldfield, featuring Australian cricket legend Brett Lee and his champion team. This venue was the perfect choice, celebrating Australia's rich cricketing legacy in a memorable setting. Mr. Karki, the owner, and his team went above and beyond to provide impeccable service and warm hospitality. The restaurant's ambiance was both inviting and elegant, complementing the high-profile event perfectly. The Nepalese cuisine was outstanding, with each dish prepared with meticulous care and attention to detail. Namaste Sutton Coldfield is more than just a restaurant; it's an experience. Whether you're attending a special event or simply enjoying a meal, Mr. Karki and his team ensure a delightful visit. Highly recommended! We were visiting Sutton Coldfield and were not disappointed when we found Namaste on Google as a good place to eat.

The atmosphere was lovely with cure modern decor. The owners were so attentive and made each and every person feel welcome. He even took the time to take a photo of me and my daughter with the pretty flower wall.

The food was absolutely delicious 😋 the keema nam was one of the best I have had and it even came out cut into nice slices so it can be enjoyed rather than everyone trying to rip into it and the filling falling out. Presentation was nice with all cute different bowls and there was definitely enough to share. I had the minced lamb dish with south Indian spices and it tasted just like one of our Indian friends dishes, with a home-cooked meal feeling about it that just can't be beaten. Peas and fresh coriander popped out through the mince meat and the flavour was consuming, I definitely recommend this one.

My daughter had the chicken korma which came out in a copper mulled bowl with arty swirls of cream on top and some of the biggest pieces of chicken I have seen. There is only one thing I would suggest to the restaurant and that would be to perhaps have more mild options rather than just korma as pasanda and malaya are also nice mild options and are a little more adventurous for mild lovers out there.

We had egg fried rice to share, there was plenty, it was the best Indian version I have had and again...it was SO fresh.

All the staff seemed to go above and beyond with smiles on their faces. If we are up this way again, we would have the sizzling board as it looked incredible when we saw (and heard) it being delivered to another table. I would have also liked to try some of their cocktails too as the pics on Google review look really nice.

Just a quick one about parking which is handy to know. As you pull in it says 2 hrs free, however when you go up to the restaurant, you can put in your reg and get 6 hrs free. I thought this was great as you don't need to rush or worry about the car then. Oh and there are a few flights of stairs to get up to the restaurant, not sure if there is a lift or not.

Another note: There were SO many options for vegetarians too which you don't really find in most places.

All in all, definitely worth a trip and will be returning if we find ourselves up...

Edit 30/09/24: Namaste have actually had the audacity to not cancel the transaction on their end after failing to provide the service at all. I am having to dispute the charge with my bank. Truly awful service and still no word back from the restaurant.

It's been over two hours since ordering online for delivery with no food in sight. I have been on the phone with them twice - I was polite each time and they assured me they would complete the order quickly. Still no sign of food and now they appear to be ignoring calls.

As it stands, my Mum's birthday takeaway has been ruined. I will edit to update if the restaurant bothers to get back to me at any point.

Edit to add: It's been two and a half hours, and "calls to this number are being diverted". We have been forced to order from somewhere else for fear of resorting to cannibalism in the depths of our hunger.

Second edit: Between the moment a member of staff assured me they'd get back to me with an ETA and now, I lost the will to live, ordered from a different restaurant, ate from different restaurant, reached midlife, met my soulmate, got married, had a late child through IVF, retired, saw my daughter off to university, grew old, and am now sat on a rocking chair on my porch watching the sun set. Oh, and Namaste is now closed without ever having gotten back to me.

I expect a full refund. All restaurants have issues from time to time, but this was handled appallingly. They had multiple opportunities to apologise and say they weren't able to complete my order, and failed to do so. If you're considering ordering from here don't bother, just order from...

After visiting here a couple of months ago where the food was excellent and service too. We decided to take our friends last night (Sat 21st). We were served some dips and poppadoms with no plates . Then the manager came over to take our food order and we said we'd got no plates for poppadoms. He went and got some then took our order. We had to ask where our food was after nearly an hour of waiting. No one once came asked us if we wanted a drink. Staff don't seem to be allocated areas. They are more interested in the takeaways. Manager was taking phone orders for them instead of watching staff! They said there was a technical issue with their card machine and that we had to pay in cash... ..how were they taking takeaway orders on the phone??? When the meal finally arrived we all thought it was really good. No one came over to check if everything was ok or if we wanted any drinks!! After finishing the main meal they cleared the plates away not asking if we would like dessert or coffee. We sat there for 40 mins after our meal not once did anyone come over. We certainly didn't leave a tip and 1 star for service is too high. Unfortunately, we won't be going again. We were hoping to take a group of 10 friends but we certainly...
