Da Brooklyn Spot — Restaurant in Birmingham

This is a message for the new management. We have used this establishment for a long time as we are only round the corner from you. However, after visiting today we felt we needed to leave a review, unfortunately, your staff aren't preparing the food correctly. I ordered a cheeseburger which is a normal order for us, the member of staff heated the bun in the microwave resulting in it being soggy. The burger patty itself was also a soggy consistency and fell to pieces while I was trying to eat it. These basic mistakes are unfortunately costing you business as they make the food off-putting and in-edible. By taking the 30seconds to heat the bun on the grill it would of made all the difference to the meal. Ooooh, my daaaays! Woooow! Noticed this place once when driving by. Just stopped on way back from work. There used to be seating inside but I can imagine it being full @ night. TV playing American sports - brilliant! The food … amaaazing! They also do fried chicken of various sorts, burgers … but it’s gotta be the Philly Steak! The ‘fuller’ one with peppers, mushrooms, etc. The quality of the meat … soooo soft! Clearly freshly made! It’s didn’t look very big at first but once one folds the baguette roll - I had to use a fork to break it up & eat! Not a criticism btw! The brother behind the counter was really friendly! Very clean place no doubt about it. Friendly and customer service very good.

Tried one of the smash burgers a beef one. Firstly value for money not at all looking at the smash burger looked big on the picture but in reality it's a kids meal. Food was cold took away and walked to my van parked 100 yards away. The bun was very hard and dry from the bottom and very soggy from the top. I not a fan of spicy but this was proper bland even for me, probably my own fault as I did ask for mild.

Room for improvement but I will give these guys another try nxt time im here.

I really likes this place but food needs slightly improving...
