I ordered food from here at the behest of my wife, who'd been recommended it by our daughter who has eaten there previously and had bought food from there that my wife had eaten and found it to be 'decent' food. So, living approximately 4 miles from there I wasn't about to drive there as I was hungry but my daughter told me I could order it as the price was the same 'delivered' as it would have been had i driven there. No Uber Eats/Just Eat price bunk as i was ordering it from their 'own webpage'. I tried this but when it came time to pay for it, the webpage told me I was 'out of their delivery distance'... bust! So instead i ordered my food online for collection only and drove the 4 miles to the store

More than enough food for the 2 of us After I arrived which I was told 25 minutes according to the webpage, my food still wasn't ready and I had to wait another 12 minutes for my food No biggie but getting hungry now The staff weren't overly friendly, neither were they rude, there were just like McDonald's staff...middle of the road with the standard, "Hi what can I get you?" And that was it. I'm not expecting the red carpet treatment as I'm only buying food, I'm not paying the staff for them to buy a new car. Cordial is the word My food arrived and I drove home, unpacked my food and 'horror', no coleslaw, or 3 wings with my wife's loaded meal š«£ I rang them and as soon as I pointed out what I'd bought, the guy on the phone said, "you didn't get your coleslaw and chicken wings?" He pointed out that the cooks had pushed the meal to the being side whilst checking another order and before he'd realised the mistake as there were 2 items sitting in their own, I'd already left. He apologised after explaining and told me to come and collect either now or at a later date. Which i then did the next day with a small further order that they didn't make a mistake on. Overall the food was decent and edible, no 5 star gourmet food but definitely not inedible or horrible. Very much a McDonald's/KFC kind of quality to it. Make of that what you will. Like McDonald's though, i should've checked my order at the store the first time and maybe I'd have realised their mistake and not had to go back a second day. That's my take and as such my rating I'd consider to be fair all...

So I placed my order on uber like always I forgot to request cans instead of a 1.5L bottle that comes with a chicken bucket. As a regular bot liking the Bottle Pepsi as itās not GB rated, I usually get honored 3 cans instead of a bottle.
Received my order with a box full of cold chicken, one or two more strips than actual and only two cans. Rang up the store and spoke to a lovely chap named Danny, who was wanting to sort the issue out but the owner of the shop (Syed) was not in a good mood and said you can only have two cans and was speaking in a very negative tone. Zero customer service skills, zero respect this man has.
I explained that being a regular I normally get three cans instead he said itās Ā£1 a can and Ā£2.50 a bottle so you can only have two! I explained the chicken is cold and not fresh Iām not happy with the order. Instead of addressing the order, he started swearing and offering me to come and argue in person.
Moving on, the staff here Iāve never had a problem with. Honestly, donāt expect a good service from this shop all the time. Iām very disappointed. Not ordering...

Went to Dixy Chicken and was absolutely disgusted by the way I was treated. Three men were standing at the till doing absolutely nothing, not even acknowledging me. No āhi,ā no āhow can I help,ā nothing. Just staring like I was interrupting their day. The moment I started placing my order, they acted like they were doing me a favour. Their tone was cold and dismissive the entire time. When I asked what drink options they had, the guy snapped at me and said, āYou can see what we have,ā even though the fridge was facing him, not me. So clearly, I couldnāt. They didnāt call out when my food was ready, didnāt bother with a thank you, and treated me like I was invisible the whole time. I genuinely felt it was because Iām a woman ā the vibe was very much āwe donāt respect you.ā If youāre a woman, especially alone, I wouldnāt recommend going here. Disgusting behaviour. Dixy needs to train their staff on basic respect ā or just hire people who know how to treat customers...
