I never like to leave bad reviews but the experience that me and my friend had here involving Halloumi was nothing short of diabolical.
Halloumi is a favourite snack of mine; and I often find Wetherspoons is able to provide it at an adequate (for the price at least) standard. At least I did until I encountered this dive.
It was served initally to the wrong table and then (after much deliberation) eventually bought to me. It was served with obviously out of date rocket salad and no sweet chilli sauce, which, coincidently, would have been the only thing to make the forecoming even slightly edible.
Despite the obviously lacking cooking standards and ingredients I cut into my halloumi with a hopeful disposition: only to be very rapidly dissapointed. It was undercooked and still somehow seeping with greace! It looked like John Travolta's hair! I was disgusted. If you squeezed it, I am convinced you could fuel your car for a month: they must have injected it with pure lard.
From this I assume their mission is to give people not only a dissatifying meal, but also a severe case of heart disease.
I will not be dining here...

Read moreHaving had a wonderful day at my step-daughters graduation, on the way home we thought that we would stop at one of our favourite brands 'Wetherspoons'... As we entered the building, some neanderthal sat outside said to my step-daughter 'put some clothes on'... Luckily I did not hear this until we got home...After walking in then swiftly walking out of this gruesome establishment we took our business elsewhere... I respectfully ask the management to identify this moron and bar him... Alternatively, some friends and I may return to investigate and correct this scumbag ourselves... Good news is, we found another venue for our meal (not spoons) and spent our £200+ there... With Wetherspoons currently closing several sites, I would recommend that this is one of them AVOID THIS PLACE... IT WILL HOST & SERVE PEOPLE WITH...
