Dixy Chicken — Restaurant in Birmingham

One of the worst Dixy chicken on Aston Lane.

Today I went to pick up an order which I received from Uber Eats. I waited 45 minutes and during those 45 minutes I’ve asked about 7 times what’s happening with the order one of the fat boy said it’s ready and just packing it after 15 minutes he said that same thing. There’s another skinny abit tall boy I asked him about 3 times as well he said the same thing as the fat boy. I waited 45 minutes in total but unfortunately they wouldn’t prepare the food for me. I cancelled the order and moved on to another order. I could have delivered 2 or 3 orders during those 45 mins. I’m paying £2.30, for delivery insurance and waiting 45 mins is not worthy for me. Those people doesn’t care about you they only care about themselves.

Tried to give Dixy Aston Lane yet another chance, and once again, they didn’t fail to totally disappoint. This will be the last time I order from here.

I ordered the Party Bucket and I got tasteless chicken, wings that weren’t even remotely spicy, and overcooked chicken bites. The gravy? Basically hot water. The sauces? Thin and watery - no effort. If you want something with laxative effect - dip the chicken into their sauce.

Worse still, the food arrived over an hour later. The slowest fast food I know, and only after I called to ask where it was. I live just TWO streets away. Pretty obvious they only bothered to send it out after I chased it up.

Really wanted to support a local place, but when the food is this poor and the service is even worse, what’s the point? Total waste of money. Plenty of other Dixy’s - definitely don’t...

They offer you a huge and delicious selection to choose from, all prepared freshly as you wait using only the finest high quality ingredients to give that finger licking taste that makes you want to come back again and again with the added professional customer service that you would come to expect from a reputable company like Dixy Chicken, the sweet aroma of the food leaves you in excitement as you wait for your food.
