Faraz Fried Chicken — Restaurant in Birmingham

I've been coming here since they first opened, everything that was good about the place is no longer true. they don't use quality fries like before, now have the cheap disgusting twig like fries you get from all the fake UK fried chicken and Iranian pizza shops. not only that, but my fries were recooked and were just rock hard hollow twigs of oil. completely inedible.

uncle if you can't even get a decent portion of fries out after 25+yrs you need to retire and sell the shop, enjoy the time you got left instead of selling thruck. it's no wander new places are taking over your business. how much money would you have lost by throwing away leftover fries?? 10p?? 15p 20p?? is it worth losing customers over 15p worth of the cheapest fries in wholesale??? absolutely 0 effort for quality.

i used to love this plsce growing up, but my gosh, have the standards dropped significantly!! I came here on eid day and asked for a masala fish with nan, i specifically told the guy with glasses at the till, NO SALAD and no sauce repeated 3 times, as salad gives me a sore throat! after waiting for a good 10 minutes, he said my order was ready with a salad, i explained i didnt want a salad and he argued saying you said you wanted salad! anyways, he said he would make me another masala fish and nan, after waiting for another 10 mins, i saw the guy throwing salad of my masala fish and nan, and putting it in a different container! i asked the guy what he was doing and he lied to my face saying it was a different masala fish in nan and i could see salad pieces on my fish!! nevertheless,i asked for a refund and walked out! id not recommend this place to anyone! shitty standards, shitty staff, bunch of liars with low morals! do not come here unless you want your day or...

The place has unfriendly staff, I've been there twice the first time they wouldn't even give me the change in my hand they put it on the table. The second time I offered to pay credit card and they said they only take cash but realising I have a credit card they deemed me worthy of putting the change in my hand. However (this was early hours of 28 June) I ordered a doner kebab in naan to take away for £6, only my second time there, and on arriving home I found they'd used store bought naan I recognise from the supermarkets, instead of bothering to make me a sweet doughy naan, so essentially I paid £6 for the meat and salad only.
