For starters, the open time in Google states 12pm however during my visit to this store yesterday, it was closed at 12pm.
It is understandable for a store to sometimes run into trouble, delaying the opening sometimes, so after 30 minutes of waiting I decided to call the store for asking when it will open just to be told it will open at 1 30pm.
If you never intended to open the store at 12pm then at the very least make sure to update the times shown in Google, ended up wasting my time commuting to this store.
Now onto the main issue, the interior store looks good and all but it is pointless if you will serve spoiled/half cooked food to your customers. After this first issue, I decided to visit the store again around 3 30pm, fortunately the store was open for sure this time.
I ordered 2 set of brownies with pudding which was delicious, no issues for this order. The main problem lies with the 12 inch pizza with the toppings of peppers, sweetcorns and onions.
I was given the order after the preparation was done, my negligence was to not give the pizza a final check inside the store, for which I noticed had chicken added to it. After noticing, I made my way back to the store and explained the issue to the staffs and they were willing to remake the order properly once I returned the wrong order.
Finally after some wait, I received the pizza order again with the correct toppings this time, and I made sure to give the pizza a final check just to notice that the dough is looking dark/grey (undercooked) instead of white/white brown.
I was simply astonished at this point, I didn't want to wait any further so I just hoped for it to be mediocre at best. When I brought the food in the car, I noticed the odd smell spreading inside, the cause being the pizza. I decided to give one slice a bite and it tasted horrible, the ingredients were either bad because of being undercooked or simply because the staff served me spoiled food.
I had no choice but to throw the pizza in the bin and simply visited another store to order...

I ordered from Munchies Takeaway & Desserts, 4A Alum Rock Rd, Saltley, Birmingham B8 1JB through Uber Eats, and the experience was appalling. The food that arrived was completely unfit for consumption, stale, overcooked, and smelt off. The lasagne was burnt and rubbery, the wedges were cold, the coleslaw tasted rancid, and the meat had an unpleasant, old smell. It was clear the food was not fresh or prepared to a safe standard. I know for a fact I wasn't consuming Lamb, Mutton, or Beef, must've been the Horse-meat from Icelands. I'm now questioning if it was even Halal, this shambles of a food place can prove otherwise to the public.
I called the restaurant directly to raise my concerns, and the staff were dismissive and rude. Not a single apology was offered. Instead, I was told to come into the restaurant to “rectify” the order, which defeats the purpose of ordering via Uber Eats in the first place.
To ensure accountability, I have refrigerated the food for testing by Birmingham City Council Health and Safety. No customer should ever receive food in this condition. Uber Eats also needs to be held accountable for allowing restaurants like this to operate unchecked on their platform.
This was my first order, and it will be my last. I strongly advise others to avoid Munchies Takeaway & Desserts both for your own health and to avoid...

I ordered a lasagna and garlic bread thinking it was going to be ordinary beef lasagna till then the lasagna arrived full of vegetables when it didn’t mention any option for vegan lasagna on the online menu.
I received the garlic bread wishing I never ordered it, because it arrived undercooked and still tasting like bread.
I ordered a chocolate muffin online to be delivered then the next moment I notice it didn’t turn up!
So we wasted 4 quid!!
They can’t even be bothered to update their website so the food arrived at lease 1 hour before it said online so I was then worried because I had another email telling me I’ve got more food coming.
Until I decided to ring them up which didn’t go to well, because I had some awfully tempered guy on the phone who just wasn’t doing his job properly by not providing good customer service in any way and even if he did the guy I spoke to would not see we have spent money on grim.
Not to mention the fact I would not have given it any stars I had to though to publish this review!
Worst takeaway I’ve had yet in my lifetime WOULD NOT recommend as it’s a waist of money based in a dirty backend of...
