🛑🛑🛑🛑🛑🛑🛑🛑🛑🛑🛑🛑My recent encounter at Alum Rock kebab House was disheartening, to say the least. In addition to the issues previously mentioned, the overall experience was further marred by a series of unfortunate events that underscored the lack of professionalism and consideration at this establishment.
To start, I was taken aback by the exorbitant prices. I paid a staggering £17 for a simple curry and rice dish, a cost that was unjustifiably high given the quality and portion size provided. This experience left me questioning the integrity of their pricing strategy and left a distinct impression of overcharging.
As if this wasn't enough, I was left dumbfounded when I was asked to vacate the premises due to staff members needing to attend a mosque for prayer. While I respect religious practices, I found it deeply unsettling that my presence as a paying customer was disregarded in such a manner. This incident demonstrated a clear lack of consideration for customers and left me feeling undervalued.
The culmination of these disappointments paints a concerning picture of Alum Rock Laban House's priorities. As a business that claims to offer quality service and value, I found these claims to be empty in the face of my experience.
In light of the subpar service, overpriced menu items, and the unfortunate incident related to religious practices, I cannot recommend Alum Rock kebab House to others seeking a satisfying dining experience. It is my sincere hope that this review serves as both a warning for potential patrons and a call for the establishment to reflect on their practices and make necessary improvements to create a more inclusive and customer-oriented...
Read moreAlum Rock Kebab House is a delightful spot that offers a wonderful mix of flavors and satisfying dishes. During my recent visit, I had the pleasure of trying several items from the menu, and overall, it was a great experience.
The Fried Cod Masala Fish was exceptional. It was beautifully seasoned, with a crispy exterior that perfectly complemented the tender, flaky fish inside. The spices added a delightful kick, making it a standout dish that I would highly recommend.
The garlic naan was also a highlight. Soft and fluffy, it was infused with just the right amount of garlic, making it perfect for dipping into sauces or enjoying on its own.
The chicken tikka was good, too. Juicy and well-marinated, it had a nice char that added depth to the flavor. Though it was tasty, I felt it could have used a bit more seasoning to elevate it further.
As for the chips, they were average. While they served their purpose as a side, they didn’t stand out compared to the other dishes.
Overall, Alum Rock Kebab House offers a warm atmosphere and a menu filled with delicious options. With standout dishes like the Fried Cod Masala Fish and garlic naan, it’s definitely worth a visit for anyone looking to enjoy flavorful food. I look forward to returning to try more of...

Saw that this place was busy during the day and thought I'd try it. Big mistake!
Food was horrible quality. Dirty and unhygeinic shop. We ordered fish masala and and sheesh kebabs in naan, it was bitter and tasted off. I asked for a refund as the food wasn't edible, especially for the amount they charged.
The pale manager working the till refused. He tried to say we ate the food even though I handed the full bag of food back to him! He also refused to call the gaffa. One of the worst experiences in terms of food taste and service. These guys don't deserve your business.
I also asked the guy at the counter for a meat Somasa. It rasted like raw meat and had zero masala or flavoring, just tasted like boiled keema. After taking a single bite, I gave it back and told him it's not edible. He offered me a veg somaso and said "our meet samosa is not that good." Hold up:
SO IF YOU KNOW YOUR MEAT SAMOSA IS NASTY (1) WHY ARE YU SERVING IT TO CUSTOMERS? AND (2), YOU COULDVE WARNED MAN BEFORE MY TONGUE GOT TRAUMA FROM THE MOST TASTELESS SOMASA IN THE WORLD. TASTE BUDS NEEDED THERAPY BRUV (Double-cheese burger from madinah grill...
