I was a covid bride so you can imagine i was stressed enough, i placed my order with Raees at zarkans boutique who estimated a 3 week delivery time for the set that i had wanted. A month goes by and i hear nothing, i have proof of text message and voice note correspondence. He kept offering to send me pictures and to call him, he says he's busy and never sends the pictures. I had to travel 1.5hrs to Birmingham each time he said its ready and arrived. First time i went it hadn't arrived, he'd made an excuse and said his delivery was delayed or not yet recieved so "apparently not his fault" second time he told me to come he said it was ready and only part of it was there. I told him i cant keep coming and going i work full time and I'm having to get a lift each time. On top of everything he ignores your messages which doesn't help. My friend had ordered jewlerry before me and its absolutely apalling, He had blanked all of her texts and dodged her calls she was waiting four months, thankfully she moved her wedding date forward but this is not the service you expect to receive. Long story short after saying 3 weeks, it had been 10 and he informed me my full set was ready. Bare in mind this is 3 days before my wedding, i go to the shop, the set is different, my chumbar was half the size and I cried my eyes out at the shop! He gave me the cheapest quality, it didn't even sit on my neck properly and we had compared it to the old set he made me try on. I was so angry and upset at the same time and he was telling me there's no need for me to feel upset? The tikka was a cheap tikka, different shape i opted for a diamond shape and he gave me a party jewlerry tikka to a bride?? so i had just burst into tears. Theres nothing he could do for me a bride shouldn't have to feel like that, he made the chumbar smaller and had the audacity to say he can order me another within 3 days first class delivery. After the treatment i had received of weeks of pestering and nagging for photos i never recieved i didnt trust his word. In the end he gave me DISPLAY JEWLERRY, some of the stones were black but that was my only option. After causing me so much grief and stress, half an old set no apology or discount was given. Disgusting!! PLEASE AVOID. A BRIDE SHOULD NEVER EVER BE PUT IN THIS SITUATION AND...

The worst custom made outfit I have ever purchased. So order was placed in good time and tbh was delivered in good time. But the quality of the fabric and the stitching is a joke. After paying over £400 for an outfit the stitching is undone and I haven’t even worn the outfit apart from when trying it on and even after asking for it to be tightened it was still loose so how is this even possible ? One sleeve is tighter than the other. The scarf length is ridiculously short and I mean I’m 5ft1 so can you just imagine how short it is. We got 4 outfits made and my mums neckline was so deep in the back even though when they took measurements it was bang on. Took mums back to the shop and wasn’t even offered any compensation for the stress he has caused with these terrible outfits. We also made the mistake of ordering my sisters Baraat jewellery from here. It was ordered in time but was given the wrong tikkah. So when we mentioned this at the shop we was told it would be rectified and we would be able to pick up in a week. When we went to pick it up it was still the wrong tikkah so we was told we can have the one from the shop excuse me. We are paying over £300 and do not want something everyone’s tried on. Was told we will be getting both the tikkahs for the inconvenience and she could decide which one she wants to wear on the day. When it was time to collect he went back on his word completely. He was honestly saying one thing to my sister and another thing to me. I regret spending over nearly £2000 in this shop. For the level of stress he has caused he hasn’t even offered any compensation or even a sorry! I honestly have no words to describe my experience here but all I know is in the future I will avoid...

Honest Opinion? This bridal boutique is one of the best, if not THE BEST Birmingham has to offer. The service is second to none and the team there are incredible.

This was the first bridal store that I had walked into in January and after a months worth of bridal lengha searching, I returned back on 1st February to place my lengha order. Whilst I already envisaged what style of lengha I wanted, Raess helped me customise an existing piece to my specifications to design a piece that I needed. Upon booking, I was told that my lengha would arrive mid-April. However, I received the call that my lengha had arrived in 8 weeks and I was able to go and collect it today.

The quality of my lengha is amazing and it was even better than I had designed and imagined it to come out. Upon arriving at Zarkan’s Boutique, I was able to try on my lengha and I needed little to no adjustments.

I would highly recommend all you future Brides to go to Zarkans and look at their beautiful collections, try things on and order with them as they are a trustworthy and reliable Asian bridal store.
