Orient Kitchen — Restaurant in Birmingham

We ordered our food at 18:00 with a delivery time of 19:20 which was not great but we accepted the delivery time. The order arrived at 20:45 after my husband drove to the takeaway at 20:20 to complain as we couldn't get through on the telephone. My husband was told at 20:20 that our small order (3 mains) had not even been started and was ushered away. When the order arrived no egg could be found in the egg fried rice, the mushroom curry left a film of grease on the plate and the hot and sour soup was an unusual colour and smelt inedibly off . We will never believe reviews again and severely hope none of us including our very young children do not get food poisoning. We expect a swift response to this complaint. I ordered Chicken katsu curry from here. The taste of the curry was fine but when I took the chicken breast out pretty much 60% of the contents underneath was large chopped onions with curry sauce drizzled on top of them and the breast.
