Back in the day this was probably a small pleasant park a few minutes walk from Erdington. Unfortunately the ravages of time, maintenance by Birmingham City Council and park users complete inability to not drop litter or pick up dog mess makes it less attractive. That all said the tide maybe turning, Rookery House , derelict for years, looks really smart now and the adjacent flower beds are looked after. The play area is alright but nothing special. The council and a team of volunteers pick up masses of litter and try to keep everything clean. Read moreA great park tucked away from the roads. The house is lovely with a beautiful flower garden filled with bees. There is plenty of grass space for dogs, exercise or picnics. Mine love the trees to hide in and to build from. There are 2 tennis courts which are extremely busy, you have to be prepared to sometimes wait. Read moreI have a lot of fond memories of the place. It's a simple park big enough to jog around or give the dog a good walk but small enough you won't get lost. You can walk around the whole park in 20 mins. It has tennis courts, hard court for team sports, and a couple of kids play areas . It's a shame to see birmingham council have sold part of the park to developers so see it soon before...
