I used to bring my children here and forgot how good it was. Nicely landscaped surroundings with benches to relax. An interesting house on the grounds, but I'm unsure of the history

Very nice for a summer stroll in the gardens or a run around the 1-ish km footpath. The field is also great for snowball fights :D

Good park for everyone, lots of friendly dog walkers and runners. It has a new basketball court next to the tennis courts.

Back in the day this was probably a small pleasant park a few minutes walk from Erdington. Unfortunately the ravages of time, maintenance by Birmingham City Council and park users complete inability to not drop litter or pick up dog mess makes it less attractive. That all said the tide maybe turning, Rookery House , derelict for years, looks really smart now and the adjacent flower beds are looked after. The play area is alright but nothing special. The council and a team of volunteers pick up masses of litter and try to keep everything clean. The park is frequented by dog walkers and runners- the walk round the edge is paved and well sheltered by trees. Just watch out for...

A great park tucked away from the roads. The house is lovely with a beautiful flower garden filled with bees. There is plenty of grass space for dogs, exercise or picnics. Mine love the trees to hide in and to build from. There are 2 tennis courts which are extremely busy, you have to be prepared to sometimes wait. There are 2 parts to the park, 1 being completely open with no fence. It'd be perfect if there were toilets on site and perhaps a...

I have a lot of fond memories of the place. It's a simple park big enough to jog around or give the dog a good walk but small enough you won't get lost. You can walk around the whole park in 20 mins. It has tennis courts, hard court for team sports, and a couple of kids play areas . It's a shame to see birmingham council have sold part of the park to developers so see it soon before...
